I noticed that the large hedge allows you to overlap them, thus negating the need for a small hedge. It looks slightly better than putting the small hedge next to the large hedge too.

Is the ability to overlap large hedges an old feature? I don't recall ever being able to do that.
It's fairly new, though I don't think I've seen any threads about it.

I think I noticed it around the time of the July 4th update (7/2). Either then or around level 42 time (6/18 ). I haven't found a good use for it in my town yet, but I'm sure it will be helpful to many -- thanks for posting.

Wow I didn't know that, thank you for sharing

It certainly made designing faster. Albeit, slightly more expensive, but if you're not worried about cash it can be a time-saver.

I've been able to do this since Krustyland was released. That's when I first noticed I could overlap them. Not sure if it was available before.

It's not new. I've been able to do it for months.

I agree it does look better than the small hedge. I wish we could do it with fences. When someone see you can place fences that way (with them facing the same way), please share.

The forums resident pointless thread maker, Zomboy716 is on vacation and besides the OP no one else would care to make a thread about it.
