Help with starting Princess Penelope quest

I'm not sure if this is a bug or we're just missing something. My son is level 43 but he leveled up after the update. He has not been given the option to build Krusty's Giant Wheel and start the Princess and the Pea-Brain quest. I automatically leveled up at the update and got the chance to start the quest right away. The Wheel is in the build menu but it says locked. He's completed all Krustyland quests because he can exchange tickets for money and he has already completed A Day in the Knife. What else is required before he can start the quest?

Krusty needs to be available as he starts it, I believe.

Hmmm. I don't know that he's ever brought Krusty into the park now that you say that. I will make sure he tries that and if that doesn't work will follow up in this thread. Thanks.

Krusty should automatically go over if he's free. If he can't be found, try storing the Krusty Burger and re-placing it.

Okay, he just went to Krustyland with Krusty (along with everyone else that can enter Krustyland) and it did not give him the option to build Krusty's Giant Wheel. It was still showing "locked" in the build menu.

There should be done quest dialogue. Check the taskbook. The first one is to place two balloons and the Giant Wheel... Though that means the Wheel should be unlocked already. I'm stumped. If no one responds, I suggest contacting EA via email or online chat and to keep doing it until you get a helpful person.

I have not received the quest too. Any other ideas? I even bought the 2 balloons in advance, but no quest yet.

From what I hear, that's not a good idea. There have been people who don't get credit for the balloons unless they buy them after the quest started.

Hmmm.... what reason does it give in the build menu for Krusty's Giant Wheel being locked?

I know this is an old thread, but I'm just now stumbling on this issue. I'm level 48, Krusty is free and at Krustyland, and this quest isn't appearing. I bought the Scratchy/Poochie balloons a while back, not sure if that caused a problem. Any advice?

Also, I don't seem to be able to progress in the Seaport questline either. Not sure if it's related.

Not sure if this has anything to do with it, but I'm lvl 45 and my Princess Penelope quest popped up after I built Itchy and Scratch's studio. I had a quest to build it, and after I started building it I got Krusty's quest for the Princess Penelope and the wheel. Hope this helps.
