Actually, by the time he gets back there'll probably be another update and the next round of glitches will just be getting started.

An adventure? I can't remember the last time I went on an adventure. Man, that's sad....

Maybe I should see if my daughter is up for an Expotition to the North Pole.

Oh wait, the fact that I know about Expotitions might explain why I don't have adventures any more.

My kid told me she wants to go camping. I told her maybe in the summertime, and she gave me a high five. A high five for camping.

Don't knock winter camping. Quinzhees can be surprisingly warm.

And I'm down with that kind of enthusiasm for camping. We took my daughter camping two summers ago and she loved it. Would have gone again but we wisely decided that camping with a 2-3 month old would not be a good idea.

If you need to delete me for tapping purposes feel free. I've got enough coins and am trying to tap through quests enough to get the try n save before I leave tonight.

I keep my neighbors down to a more manageable number in the teens, only during coins I bumped it up to 30 odd.

My entire place will be available for tapping I guess.

Thanks all! Back now.

Quick update, was in southern china so had major google withdrawal, shared Internet over dial up with both hotels, couldn't post, visit neighbors (Christmas quests stalled for 3 weeks) and intermittent access to my own Springfield as well as almost no access to the board. Although I think twice it cleared up. Censureship is weird!

Anyway, here's a pic from my hotel balcony looking out at the main beach of Sanya and another from my glassed in balcony in Guangzhou.

Sanya was sad. My wife was telling me how 2 years ago there had been a great thriving food culture area but when she went back we found out the govt had bulldozed it in its program to turn the island into the official chinese island vacation resort. No great food anywhere left. Sad.

Guangzhou (formerly known as canton has greatly suffered from modernization as well. We never found food any better than that we can find in the immigrated Chinese communities in S.F., Oakland, or L.A.. (With the caveat to stay away from the Chinese-American Food places if you want a great meal.

Anyway, that was long. I'm back. Going to see I I can get enough coins to get SLH before I buy a funzo. I like the burns monster, but the gagging cuteness of the funzo. Not my thing.

Welcome back! Ahhh yes, unfortunately in recent years, most of China's most fantastic food places have almost disappeared because the government is trying to increase the number of tourists for their country as well develop it for themselves. The nice spots to visit in China have also almost all been transformed into tourist traps and are very frequently filled with tourists.

I experienced it first hand when I went there a few years ago. It's quite sad but they do have some really beautiful scenery.
