Questionable Castles

I've had some like that. The player has just upgraded their castle a lot to make you take longer to destroy it. To be honest, I wouldn't mind sending a nerd there as chances are the next person will collect in time anyway just like the player that takes over 1 day to destroy,so you'd get the same payout (10 elixir, 2 gold) because many players are active a lot, so they will defend before you destroy.
Sorry if that is confusing.

Yeah, I suppose I'd only be using a nerd or two. It just seems like such a long time compared to the other, lower level castles. I just wonder if it's better to stick to attacking people around your level or not. I just got started on the event, so I'm just figuring it all out. Thanks for your advice. :)

I've come across a few of the random towns that were fully upgraded. One of them even had about 10 of the hot air balloons and catapults (don't think you can have more than 1) in addition to 5 Springfield Falls.

Skip em', it'll take longer to destroy the castle. It's very likely they've hacked everything too!

Jeez Louise! 5 Springfield Falls? That's kind of overkill, isn't it? Lol. I would worry that having extras of things that you're only meant to have one of would glitch up my game. I'm not trying to judge people who do that sort of thing, but doesn't it take the fun out of it? What's the point if you finish the event on Day 1? I would get pretty bored myself. Most of us get so bored in between events. I like to savor the event as much as possible. To each their own I guess.

Also, I can't imagine that they would really benefit from me attacking them, since they seem to have all the gold and elixir they need anyways. It's kind of like taking yourself out of the event when you get that far ahead of everyone else. Whatever floats their boat I guess. I suppose my nerds could probably be better spent on towns that could actually benefit from defending against my attacks. Don't you get elixir when you successfully defend your houses and castles (I've yet to do it myself)?

I'm going to tell my nerds to steal one of those Springfield Falls. I need one! One guy on my friend list had exactly 15000 gold a few hours into the event. I suppose he could have used donuts, but I doubt it.

I don't think you can buy gold with donuts, anyway. You can buy elixir. I need a Falls also, thank you.

Clearly some people have hacks. I came across a town with two of all the stonecutter prizes, you tell me how that (or the multiple waterfalls as previously mentioned) were achieved without hacks?

I am NOT saying that there aren't hackers out there I know there are I've come across towns that had things that had yet been released. but some people like myself spend a lot of money in this game i have spent $700 in 2 years I enjoy the game, I like playing it, I spend money on it but I get tired of hearing everybody call hack when some people just have more money than them who cares play your game and enjoy your life stop worrying about everybody else.

I have a neighbor who already had over 38k in gold yesterday and 40K today. That is enough for all the common prizes. Hacked or too much money where is the fun in that.
