Nerds are only for attacking neighbors. Your nerd count doesn't affect your ability to defend on your town.
Thanks. That's what I thought though seems there's some misconceptions out there. Definitely saw people complaining over the lack of the nerds and needing them to defend so just wanted to make sure!
