I will be checking this out over the duration of the event, as you never know being August people might be on holiday and not know about it yet (shocking i know) If people still havent updated in a weeks time then i will probably be having a clear out :P

I agree with Neo, here in France the whole country is shut down for holidays and they even have cities here without 4G nor WIFI (shocking, I know)

I noticed this as well. If I didn't see the castle being built, I removed them. Requested some new neighbors yesterday and today and all have accepted so far.

I have noticed the same thing...did a big clean out before the event too! Have about 80 neighbours now. Won't turf anyone else just yet though since not everyone is as obessessive about the game. :roll:

But give it a week.....

I would love some reliable neighbors as well. Sure the finding friends section will get you friends fast but most will not be anything of quality, and people who will never visit you.. I would love to have friends like me, play daily and visit almost daily.. Plus I really hate adding friends and then finding out their town is one big house farm or just a bunch of buildings thrown around.. I wish there was a preview button where you could peek at someones town before friending them..

I havent posted in the Finding Friends because I'd rather have some of the regulars. The quality of Springfields from you all have been much better than what I picked up at Gamefaqs. :thumbup:

I'm going to give my neighbours at least a week before considering to cut anyone. This is a long event, and since it's summer, people might not be playing as much.

Same here, most than a half of my neighbors with 0 gold. I deleted some who have been inactive for weeks, but im going to wait a bit to change some of those i have since the beginning.
For sure those who don´t update in the next week are going to go too, cause even if for this update we have random towns to interact with, im sure we are going to need active friends for the hallowen update.

A lot of my friends are still zero too, but I guess with the random attacker option, it's doesn't seem as critical to swap out friends as it was in previous events. Or did I miss something?

True... but I still like active neighbors. Kinda picky I suppose.

I dont delete forum regulars either. They get a pass unless they get ridiculous or announce that they are leaving the game or something.

It's working out better with fewer neighbors for this event. There aren't nearly enough nerds to hit each neighbor with 5 attacks per day.
