And you continue the cycle with new a complain about the complainer thread?
Oh no, you sure put one over on me!
Oh wait, this shows you don't understand my actual meaning. I'm complaining about people. People who just won't stop and feel entitled. It's non stop, and I'd like to stop it. I know I won't be able to, but it might be nice to help it cut down a little.
Well, neuro, so many people want so much. Some of it is newbie stuff, like childeharr said, and some is just people who want it all and not work to get any of it.
Most people who "want it all" are perfectly willing to put in the taps or the donuts for it. E.g. I wanted the cool brown house - a 100% free episode tie-in - and I paid the donuts for it when the yard sale came around. Many players who missed the Nighthawk Diner when it was offered for in-game cash also paid donuts for it. (The diner was far more reasonable than the cbh, but still a price increase.)
I find the attitude of exclusivity to be both annoying and selfish. I don't begrudge anyone the ability to get something they want that I had first.
Not only that, but I haven't noticed an overabundance of requests for old items since the yard sale. So I find this rant of yours to be doubly superfluous.
It's not just old items, it's pretty much everything. Sometimes there's 3 threads on the front page for new land. People post new threads all the time upset that someone else has something they don't. I just don't understand the mindset here. People feel they need to get everything with no effort at all.
And to put in one HUGE complaint on my own: You people are so lazy that you won't even help me gather info to stop the crashes. Yet you'll still benefit as I move up the chain to fix the problem for myself.
One way to reward long time players would be some sort of badge or decoration awarded after playing a fixed amount of time (maybe 1 month, 3 month, 6 month, 1 year, then every six months thereafter). Of course, this would depend on EA being able to retroactively award these based on the age of our account, which I imagine is pretty clear in our account info. And we all know EA wouldn't have any coding issues, right?
Just a thought...
This has been done in other games. It can definitely be done retroactively. But it should be pointed out that some people stop playing for certain periods of time for various reasons. This would make it difficult to correctly award for periods of time played...

Some people have already contributed to similar threads. Some have already contacted EA. I was using a Nexus 7 to play. I got the KitKat update last year, sometime around November. Since then the game has crashed about 14 billion times. Do a search on here for KitKat problems. Those using non-Nexus devices have been spared months of agony.
There was one brief window, earlier this year, where this game ran well on all my devices. I like to imagine that some guy at EA accidentally let a stable version for KitKat be released. He was hanged, drawn and quartered once the bungle was discovered.
I will, occasionally, go onto my KitKat devices to see how the game is doing there. Mostly I play it on iPad. I've had many times on KitKat where the game has crashed more in an hour than in months of playing on iPad.
I've only ever played once on an iPad, but I don't visit my mother enough to play regularly on hers. I just have my Android, and it's at KitKat and sometimes it plays great... Sometimes it crashes so much that I'm surprised that the entire continent doesn't hear me moan like Homer does very loudly when it crashes on me again.
But I'm at second level support with them, and about to respond to the email so I can get this done further. Honestly, I don't think it's the device in question, but the code isn't any good...

I play most of my games on the Nexus. Most run with no problems. A few have some problems. TSTO has been buggier than all of them combined. Even the iPad version of TSTO has had more bugs than any of my games on the Nexus. Makes it hard to blame the Nexus.

People feel they need to get everything with no effort at all.
You've now made this claim twice, despite my detailing how plenty of people are perfectly willing to put in taps or donuts for whatever, so long as it's made available to them. I see no evidence of your claim that there's any unwillingness to put in "effort" if it's necessary. Utter lack of an item kind of precludes being able to get it through any amount of "effort" in the game, so your postulation that asking for the return of some items or the release of more land means that "people" want "everything" for "no effort" is clearly flawed.
You know who wants everything for no effort? Hackers. You'll have to go to another board if you want to tell them what terrible people they are, because this isn't a place for such discussion.
After recent posts about this current event, I have come to the idea that people are never happy. They want everything given to them and get outright ticked off if they can't get all prizes. Then they get a super long event with plenty of time to get everything, and they complain they are bored. But to add in, so many want everything to be so easy in the game, such as one button to assign all tasks or clear all buildings that there would be no actual game any more.
Sarcasm, just one more service I offer my best friend even bought me a mug that says that. So needless to say I got it
I love not having everything because I already have severe 'designers block' with the limited (by some peoples' standards) content I have to work with. The inventory is my friend
Yes, my main purpose in life is to track and contradict everything you say out of sheer bloody-mindedness. All 4890-some of my posts have obviously been devoted to this.
Or perhaps, in this instance, I just think you're incorrect in some of your assumptions about players who have simple desire for something that might make their gameplay more fun.
i got the sarcasm, I'm English and its sort if in our nature. . Vompletely agree, I like the limited time things occasionally, should be some sort of reward for playing ages. For me it's the super collider and black hole, plus the mapple store
Although if EA were willing to make exclusive time period decos and badges that unlocked after a set period of time played then I'd gladly give up having exclusive access to the mapple store etc because I have a deco to show I've played that long anyway

I'm just going to put this out here: You should not be so nasty to someone. There is no need to exaggerate so much, or be sarcastic with the tone you've taken with me. Note that I do not, and will not, stoop to that level.
I think, which means this is my opinion, that people are lazy in the way that they want one tap to do everything for them. Thinking about what game design is, that's not something that the devs will want to change very often. It goes against their design philosophy for this project. If all you do is go into a game, tap one or two buttons then leave, you are not playing the game.
It goes well beyond this to people's anger at not getting every single item. Yes, most players want to get as much as they can, but most realize that there are limits to what they can do and afford within the confines of the game's environment. Of course, the vocal ones will come out and say they have to have this or that, or how dare the bring back older prizes (saw that just a few min ago in another thread) because it's lazy of EA. They, and both of us, have no idea what exactly is happening within EA's dev studio. What right do we have to be so tough on them?
So I could say more, but I would be repeating myself. I'm here for discussion. If you want to actually argue, you can do that with another forum member.

Given the sarcastic tone of your original post, I figured it was your idiom. If you're that offended by sarcasm and hyperbole, perhaps you should refrain from using them yourself. Just throwing it out there.
I'll rephrase: you're not the center of my universe. Hope that's better.
(And you've never seen me be nasty. Just FYI. Very few people have. Also, this board is family-friendly. Have a super day.)

Is it possible that you may be taking some of these threads out of context? I've seen a lot of posts with people simply asking if an item will be available for free later, or that they'd like to see an item return. Most of them don't appear to be demanding the items, they simply want to let it be known that they would like to see the item come back because it is something they are interested in having for their town.
As for the 'one tap' threads, I think these are just suggestions, not expectations. People just have ideas that they want to put out there.

Keep things in perspective. I don't wish to be the center of your world and never believed that. Why would I want something so useless? I don't know you, don't care about you, and don't wish to close enough to you to be even somewhat the center of your world. The sarcasm in my original post here was also not pointed directly at you by any means. Your sarcasm has been attacks on me for having a different opinion than you.
Your quoted post, btw, was sure filled with a different attitude: superiority. You're not better than me, and you're likely not worse. The almost hidden threat at the end was so pleasant, thank you!
Please grow up and lay off. Your attitude is not welcome in my world. If you don't like my opinions, avoid talking about them. I'll do the same for you. I'm not here to argue, never have been, and it would be awfully nice if you saw that.
