Chirpy Boy and Bart Jr. task?

I noticed that too. None of my other NPC's were assigned that task - but I don't have very many of them. I posted a pic in another thread of their icon-less inclusion in the pop up box of characters on that task. "Crazy bananas" right? Maybe Springfield is about to be taken over by lizards !

No, everyone can post a pic, you only need to be level 2 to have an avatar, which you have, anyway.

Upload the screenshot to imgur or any image sharing site and then post it here.

I personally prefer imgur it's pretty cool once you upload the pics make sure you copy the BBC code which will look like this

I don't know it its a glitch or not, but it would be a nice addition if NPC's could be sent on tasks from now on.

I also noticed this on my Game! I was shocked at first! I wonder if this is a glitch or going to be a new addition to all of our random NPC's?

Everyone starts at level 1. To know whether you're level 2, you would need to have a gotten a PM from the System. You get promoted after an uncertain level of regular activity/participation in the forum, and the promotions usually happen on the 22nd of each month.

To tell if someone else is level 2, checking if they actually have an avatar image is a fairly good indication.

That is actually a very nice pic! Thanks for posting!

And you can see the lizards, and where they are at, in between the Lemonade Stand and Malaria Zone, under a tree, as you would expect some lizards to be, LOL!

Since I went premium, Chirpy and Bart Jr are the only premium item I have not purchased. It was enough spending donuts on golden eggs, just to get all the playable characters from that event. I couldn't bring myself to spend more on colored eggs just to get that one NPC. Oh well.

I'm so glad it was more people than just me who got this quest that I hope it happens again if I get to Level 2 on here.

I just started that task and Bart Jr. And Chirpy Boy never came up. I found and tapped them, but they just did their usual motions

Edit: found the trigger. You need to tap the 'Do It' arrow in the task window. Pretty funny having them on it. :P

Oh yeah, there they are! I thought I missed them. But that does end up being a perfect place for them!

Just coming here to post about this. The way I got them to do the task was that everyone else in my SF was on other tasks, so when I clicked on the Database task in the task book, and it selected chirpy Boy and Bart Jr. when I clicked on it.

I am thinking if this is the case at one time they were going to be tasked. If nothing else is available to do a multiple person task they come up. I would like to test this but have no more multiple person tasks to do at the moment.

This is confirmed! If everyone in Springfield is on a task and there is a task for multiple springfielders if you click on the do it arrow Chirpy Boy and Bart Junior are there to do the task.
