I've never tried to put one on a sidewalk. I doubt they were ever intended to be put there. If they could before, it was probably a glitch that has been fixed. I've got a Jet Engine Bike on one of my parking lots. I understand that they've since fixed that. If I move the bike, I'll probably never be able to put it back.

Yes they were there before. Strange considering other trees can be placed on them.

I opened the game now that my OS finished updating. I tried a variety of trees, including the potted tree, none would go on a sidewalk. The only item that I've ever been able to put on a sidewalk is the parking meter.

I tried the boardwalk tiles, aside from the potted trees, none would go on those either.
