So marge can speed up the corn for four hours. Does it double in speed uring this period?
Hoping for a rerelease....
No. What happens is, when you set the task, four hours are removed from the crop's clock. So, if you were growing moonshine and immediately set Witch Marge to speed it up, the clock for the moonshine would read 20 hours. If the crop is 4 hours or less, Witch Marge cuts the time in half.

Just out of curiosity, has anyone tested storing Marge after setting the task? Does it add the time back?

Yes, I think it does. I don't recall the exact events, so I'm not going to say it with certainty, but I'm sure I tried it and found it not to work. On the other hand, when we had to grow the GMO potatoes for the first time, I had Marge speed them up and I stored her after the crop came in (but before her 4-hour task was done) and had no problems. But if you could start-store-restart Witch Marge as often as you like, you'd see a lot more corn getting grown. :-)

No it doesn't
Hmm... makes me wish I had her now. Great way to churn out some extra money if you're close to something you want. I can just see someone dedicating a day trying to grind through corn quickly.
