amcevil, I admire your dedication to your obsession. I've stocked up, but nowhere near what you have. I look forward to seeing your mega castle. That's a lot of towers you have on your plate.
I stored about 40 barbarian walls, 4 gates and 8 towers (not counting what's in my town). Please, if you ever are able to use even half of your stockpile, share some pix with us. I'd love to see what you create!

It'd be perfect if they'd let us move this stuff to KL, I have so much space there. Not that I'm expecting it. Regardless, if I ever nuke my town I'll build a mega-castle, if only temporary. I'll make sure I share it when/if I ever get around to it.

Meanwhile back to the grind, I just bought another castle tower. :D

I'm sitting on over 330K elixer.

I'm hoping for additional content to spend it on, but can envision an entirely windmill powered town encircled by a medieval town wall

Most of my elixir is going toward upgrades for more cardboard walls. And they're starting to get pricey. Maybe I should've stuck with buying items for the first castle, but Boxingham Palace is the only one of the three that's actually from the show.

Getting an absurd number of medieval banners is kind of an interesting idea. Post some pics if you put them all out at the same time.

I keep expecting another update with new stuff and princess kashmir, im just hoarding Elixir just in case. If not, I'll blow it all in the final moments, get castle walls and towers on the off chance we can move stuff to Krustyland.

I would have quit a few weeks ago, but I also tallied up how much elixir I'd need to buy multiples of each of the items. It turned out that I needed a lot, mostly b/c I have a grand idea in mind that requires a ton of outhouses.

Fortunately, if you have a fast iOS device (e.g., iPhone 6 or iPad Air) and are cool with keeping the game off most of the day, it is pretty easy and relatively painless to earn elixir with one castle raid per day.

I was collecting elixir to buy walls after level 20 but it was too tedious for me. I probably have 130,000 gold. I'd like 4 more recycle walls

I'm saving up in case there's another release of new stuff before it ends. If not, then I'll be stockpiling tons of extra walls and decorations last minute. :)

I might get a couple of last minute items but otherwise I bought enough to satisfy me...have more than enough walls to use so don't need any more walls. Just stocking up until the end.

I've bought a few things, some castle walls, towers and gate for the Barbarian castle, a guillotine, and a hay cart. Right now I'm saving my Elixer until near the end and then I'll go on a buying binge. :P

I have about 20k in elixir I haven't used. I'm going to wait until the last day and see what I can buy with it. I pretty much stopped playing **** after I got the last prize.

I'm continuing to play the event because it's there. I have no grand plan. I have no idea what I'm going to spend the elixir on. I am mildly curious to see if Wizard Marge will reach level 100. She's not quite 2/3, so I tend to doubt she'll make it.

I think the barbarian castle walls will be the most useful things for me to stockpile, as they're somewhat "normal" and could be used in designs other than the castle. I leveled up boxingham enough to surround it with walls (albeit with a very tiny courtyard) and improvised for recycled walls. I'm not working too hard at getting more elixer, though, just doing the tasks I enjoy and raiding occasional towns. (Visiting other towns has been pretty crashy for me, lately, and I'm not elixer-thirsty enough to keep reloading.)

I used the extra elixer to buy walls for the recycled and Boxington Castles rather than buy with donuts. I've now eased off on the raiding . Over 150,000 in gold and Homer upgraded beyond 100.

I'll probably have to store the castles after the event to make space for a small medieval village to go with the Barbarian Castle on "Barbarian Island" :D

Given your gold totals, I figured you were up to something big. Now I know I'm going to kick myself for not loading up on outhouses. (There's a sentence I never thought I'd type.)

I'm fiddling with the idea of surrounding Krusty's mansion with cardboard walls, so I'm still grinding it out.

 shh. if you play around with it, you'll probably see it.

It might not work, but it gives me a reason to stockpile elixir.

Can't wait to see how the mansion turns out.
