I have already tried to turn both my ipad and iphone on and off and it still doesnt work.
Now i cant get into the game at all suddenly, now it says that my other device didnt save my progress so i have to log into there before i can play. But when i try to do this tye same message appears on my other device to.
But its still so that when i log into origin my level has been reduced from 45 to 25.
having the same issue, except mine is logging in at level 38, instead of 45. I've tried relogging and leaving my phone off for 10 minutes or so and then relogging, no luck. Has anyone found a solution yet?
also tried reinstalling the app as per EA troubleshooting instructions, no luck.
The wrong town glitch seems to normally only put you into a specific other town once. For some, the glitch sticks around longer. Getting stuck out of your town can be quite frustrating, but keep in mind that there is another person on the other end of that town.
I don't know if customer support can unravel this glitch on an individual basis. Overall, this glitch has been going on for a long time. My suspicion is that the fix must be done on EA's side and that they haven't been willing to pay the cost.

I had the same bug and reported it to EA on thursday. I was able to log back into my town on saturday, but apparantly someone else could too, and he decided to nuke my town! Seriously why would you do that to someone elses town

Some people are just nasty. Very sorry this has happened Contact ea again, they can restore your town to its previous state.
I already did contact them again. They were quite helpfull and will restore the town. It's quit frustrating to have your game experience ruined by [insert swearword here].
I had the same thing happen in my second town last week.
I logged into my account but a totally different town appeared. I opened a support ticket and they got me back into my town, but then I found out that someone else had been in my town and they really messed with it. They sold half my buildings, bought all they land they could, and spent all my donuts.
I reopened my support ticket and finally got the issue resolved. The specialist I worked with was very nice and helpful. I'm so glad I managed to get to someone who stuck with me to the end to resolve my issue.

I wonder if the support person still doesn't understand what the problem is. Even if not, maybe the glitch will spontaneously unwind itself.
This is just getting worse. They have now reset my Springfield TWICE. I have changed my password. All seems fine... I log in as normal and then when I come back an hour later, my Springfield has been nuked. Twice now this has happened. How does someone still have access to my town even though I have changed the password?

Because that other person has never had your password. Someone taps on the game icon. EA's server glitches and dumps him into your town. Generally the glitch would only drop him into your town once, but lately I've seen a number of posts from people who are getting dumped into the same wrong town over and over.
This is happening to me too. I have reported it but there doesn't appear to be a solution yet.

Got an answer from ea that they wanted more information but now it has been almost three days without a reply.
Meanwhile someone spends my donuts, sells my buildings, redecorates and does my quests so i miss the storyline. This is just great! And whats wrong with the people that accidentially gets into someone elses town and starts spending donuts and does all sorts of things knowing thats it not theres, isnt that a crime in some way? I mean they are spending donuts that i have payed with my own real money!
I think the key to getting these issues resolved is getting someone on the phone. Be prepared to spend an hour or more to get past the first level support to a specialist who can work with a developer. The first person on the phone was the gatekeeper to the specialist. Once I got to the specialist, he was very helpful.
It took me about 4 days from my first call to get everything back to normal. Good luck to everyone!
Someone else has logged into my springfield and purchased items and spent the last of my donuts. Nothing is missing (no purchases on my account and the placed items are worth more than the donuts I had) but if they spent money on their own account i'd rather they got the items.
Reported it to EA but they said keep the items?
Of course they may have just sorted the problem for the other person and given them their missing items. I'm worried I have items I shouldn't have.
