Characters voiced by celebs im fine with, but ive got no interest in actual celebrities. Mulder and Scully, along with the Burns Alien REALLY should be Halloween prizes.
After the comic com event in the family guy game, I was wondering the same thing. I think they should add celeberties to the game, and honestly if they make them all premium the family guy game will definitely have an upper hand, because they gave them for free.
Also this is a bit off topic, but it's crazy how fast family guy caught up to tapped out in regards to content. They're seriously dominating in the realm. This should really light a fire under the developers butts!

Isnt that just because Tapped Out is two years old and Family Guy is ... what? Three months?

The other thing is that the Simpsons universe is so much larger than the Family Guy universe. There are still many Springfielders to add before EA starts adding one-off celebrity guest characters. Although I do agree the Mulder/Scully/Alien idea would be good for Halloween!
I agree that the X-Files and the alien Mr. Burns would be great for Halloween. Other than that, I hope EA holds off with celebrities. We haven't even gotten Helen Lovejoy or Lunch Lady Doris yet.

That's true. They are playing catch up, but the speed that they did it in is amazing if you ask me. For me they'll never replace tapped out but the content speaks for itself.

The problem with the game is they have a limited number of characters, and of those characters only a small number have alternate skins so eventually they are going to have resort to continuing parodies large events involving the main characters which gets very boring.
This is where TSTO differs greatly and why it'll stay fresh, the depth of the content and what they can do with it.

Mmmmmmmmm i don't know. It is getting harder or TSTO to stay fresh, with their ever depleting list of relevant characters. If all were ever going to get are updates with 2 buildings and 2 1-shot characters, even if they continue with the same formula, I wouldn't say thats fresh. And any more events featuring holidays that were not visited by Jack Skellington in the Nightmare before Christmas is just going to pile on more of the same crap that everyone complains about. Anymore thanksgiving, easter, patricks day, or valentines day content is definitely not fresh.
Now mind you, the other game may end up having the same problem, but right from the start, they've been pulling to make events that go places that TSTO hasn't dared to go. And they did that because they don't have the minor characters TSTO has, so they literally have to keep it fresh. And yeah there are problems. You buy a lot of weird stuff that doesn't fit in the town, but thats its own issue.
My point is TSTO can't just be fresh, relying on its character roster and holiday events alone. They need to pull off some more Stonecutters and whacking day type events, which doesn't happen enough, whereas FG is all about making the most out of events. FG has been more inventive, mainly because they have to be.

TSTO isn't just tapping the roster, they are using the roster to bring new storylines to the characters that FG doesn't do. They are able to make the old characters already in the game fresh without slapping on another outfit or redoing the same routines. TSTO has shown they can and will create new events that aren't rehashes, and integrate new content while still keeping things fresh for the older characters, this summer alone has proven that.
There are enough THOH characters that could be added for Halloween. We don't need the likes of lame X-Files chars. They were in One episode, and not a great one at that.
Moe: "Moe's tavern, home of the worlds smallest large screen TV."

I do like the story lines that they have done in tsto. However if that is what constitutes fresh, there is no reason to assume the other game will lag behind in that department, just because they don't have as many insignificant characters to draw from. There are plenty of other ways to draw out story.
Would be nice if they added some celebs to the game but being that they probably wouldnt be voiced would ruin it personally, still like it to happen tho
As for game content, i think there is still loads of stuff they can add to the game, the program has been going for so long they will have loads of stuff to add yet. As for halloween we need Hugo added
I would like to see David Hyde Pierce who plays Side Show Bob's brother be available at some point as he was in multiple episodes. Although obviously it would be problematic as SSB isn't playable.

5 months but I do know what you're getting at
otherwise a solid opportunity for Fox to tie-in here w/ any future films 8)
