Anyone buy the Rigellian Hunting License?? What does it give you?

Prev1
Three probes for each Rigellian squished in your own town and two for each squished in your neighbor's town.

Not sure if your still bound by the 90 max probes per day for neighbors.

Thanks, so two instead one in neighbor towns. I think I already get three per in my SF. Maybe worth it if the 90 max limit doesn't apply.

I'd like to know if the limit applies or not. If not, I think it'd be worth the 90 donuts.

This is how TSTO Addicts describe this:
Rigellian Hunting License- 90 Donuts. Helps you earn MORE reports when getting aliens from neighbors towns.

Not sure what that means though.

I purchased it this morning, and it does not seem to increase the 90 per day limit. Can anyone flee confirm this?

The limit still seems to apply. I bought one and ran out of actions after going through what felt like 30 neighbors. I probably got more probes out of it though, so no biggie.

I guess I'll pass on getting one if it just gives an extra 90 per day.

    Thanks All!!

Looks like this is only useful for people with less than 30 neighbo(u)rs. Glad i checked before buying!

I am confused, if the 90 limit still applies, then why bother buy it? To me, it sounds like it just gets you to 90 probes quicker.....

The 90 tap limit still applies. Normally you would get 1x probe per tap for a max of 90 probes. With the Hunting license you get 2x per tap (max. 180)

So the tap limit is on how many Rigelians you tap, not how many probes you receive?

Also, for those who where not around during Whacking Day, they had a the same thing but for snakes. After the event was over, the license disappeared or was useless.

Agreed, EA should not put items like this in the store. I spent 10$ on this item only to realize that they used a clever way of labeling it. "Earn more rewards for squishing rigellians in your friends' town." Although it does not mention that there is a limit, and that spending 90 Donuts on this item does not give you any extra benefits than someone who does not have this item. EA just robbed me.

So, I'm still slightly confused with the information above. Does the License help get more probes total or the same amount of probes in a quicker time? What is it's advantage?

Maybe after the event, it will be used to give you more friendship points, lol.

    twice the number of probes.

You can take 90 actions to potentially earn probes per day.

Without the license - you get 1 probe per action
with the license - you get 2 probes per action

So the license doubles the number of probes you can get from friends daily.

please note that if you go into a non-updated town, and click on a building - that counts as an action against your 90, but no probe.

see above. it does give you extra benefit. 90 more probes per day.

same number of actions, twice the probes per action.

Yeah, me too. But I agree it is useful for those with only a few neighbors.

Thanks for this thread, it's the first mention I've seen of the 90 action limit. I was scouring the boards because I stopped getting probes for visiting friends, and I was thinking did I...you know...

    Go crazy?

Don't mind if I do!!! AAaaaablblblblblblb-ah! Eeeeh! Uh! Uuhh!
