I have the same problem. My Kindle wouldn't update and I was still playing 'Clash of Clones' this morning, until the game told me that there were no more towns to attack. I deleted the app from my devce and cloud, reinstalled and relogged onto my EA acct. I now have half an update. Homer is still in his clone skin on the app icon, but I have the Halloween update. However, I am unable to do any friend actions, evdn though it says there are 3 available. I havd not been able to visit my friends for 2 days now because I kept getting an error message that they had newer content than me. I have no idead what the new friends quest is as that has not come with the 'update'.

Using the galaxy S III and since the Halloween update it has crashed a lot more than the norm, sometimes not opening back up for extended time.

ASUS running android Kitkat. i have friends gremlins running in my town and i click them for a probe but when i go to friends town or the simpon town there are no actions available for me. When i returned to my town it said my gremlins found two probes in other towns??? I only looked at three towns.

Ok... seem to have had an update that sorted that but i didn't get two "50 bonus probes" when i shot a spacecraft. I think i got the gift bag i won from shooting a third one. I was still figuring out the event but i only had 351 probes so i know i didn't get the bonus ones. I would have noticed.

Since the THoH update the text and icons (Dollar Signs, Cash Registers, Thumbs, etc) that appear above buildings and characters that have completed tasks all are very large on my device. Is there a way to make them smaller? I tried all of the settings (all 2) in game but cant make them smaller (at least the size they were before the update). The problem is that after I tap a building to collect the money and XP symbols that explode out, are also large and interfere with my tapping the next one. This is very annoying. Anyone else notice this? I use a Lenovo A10-70 tablet running jelly bean. This is only in TSTO. The control panel (lower left and the icons in the lower right and the laser gun Icon in the upper right as well as the character select button (upper left) are much larger too. The text boxes when characters chat before a task are also about twice as big. My fiance uses an iPad and there is no change on her device.

System is crashing. Bcant start the game. After i have tryd to start it many times it starts but the donut just spins. Gamr dont start.

I can't send friend invites. I can only accept them. When I try to send, it tells me my list is full and I know it isn't. This does not happen on my old ipod.

Sideloaded onto BlackBerry Z10, after update I have no access to game. The Halloween splash screen presents for several seconds and then the app closes.

I have uninstalled and restarted the phone several times to no effect. I tried reverting to an earlier .apk and no love. The Crackberry forums report others having similar issues.

So it looks like we have 3 common problems identified on specific platforms.

Frequent Crashing

Larger text and icons blocking most of screen

Can't send friend invites, incorrect message saying friends list is ful

The problem interacting with friends towns sounds like early event transition, which should be pretty much surpassed by now. b3arclaw, I don't think there will be much help for you, as TSTO is not officially supported on Blackberry devices.

Yeah, I'd be surprised if EA made any effort on BB's, seeing as our jury rigged solution didn't allow us to buy donuts. No donuts=no financial incentive to work on the problem.

Galaxy S4, Verizon build of 4.4.2, not rooted

THoH update installed fine, worked up to last night.

This morning game won't run. Gets to logo screen, donut spins a bit, then stops. Game just sits there. Deleted cache, nothing. Moved to SD & it wouldn't even open. Moved back to phone, back to logo & freeze.

Would crash within a couple minutes of loading the game, and it would take about ten tries just to get into the game (would crash just after that FOX sreen).

I ended up going into setting, then into apps, then into Tapped out. I cleared saved data and redownloaded the game from the app store. Cldaring cache didn't work so I took a more drastic measure. I got into the game just fine, and to be safe a deleted about 20 friend requests pending as some people reckon that helps.

Crashes before startup screen. Or the startup screen will state my current level (I am a level 44), but then it takes me to the tutorial.

I can't open the game on my Samsung Galaxy S5 - Android 4.4.4
When I click on the game, I get the entry screen, then it goes black and after a couple of minutes will go back to the phone screen.....
