My Try'N'Save went yellow when Santa Homer had a task, but it wasn't available to build until a few days later when my non-premium tasks caught up. I needed Home to tell Lisa a mypod was to expensive and ask if she wanted anything else. She said she wanted a Funzo and that there wasn't a store to buy one so then you get to build the Try'N'Save.

The end of the Barney tasks will unlock it. So, you must have the Bowlerama first.

Hey wait .. you have a Santa Homer? I don't have one of those .. maybe that's why I haven't gotten more santa coin quests?

Depends what quest you have there are 2 one where Santa homer needs try and save to be build to watch some whiney kids this isn't the one you need to have Lisa wanting a funzo and wanting try n save to be built as they have them.

Dont worry. It takes ages!!. After you are prompted to build it, you need to complete all the Barney Quests. Takes 3-4 days. Dont needlessley send your characters on quests, especially Lisa, Homer and Barney.

So after I send Barney on a binge for 24 hours, the try n save quest should unlock?

No he has a number of tasks before it will unlock.
