Why the fudge would EA limit us to 90 probes from neighbours per day??

if i'm maxed on probes i still visit to drop grem alien eggs and shoot down UFOs. i try to drop eggs in a new town each pass so everyone gets a chance to smush them.... also, if you're maxed out on friends points then you get 100-ish per smushed face hugger, so there's the cash bonus, if you're into that. but beyond that... idk.
