To what degree have you enjoyed the event thus far?

Prev13
I'd give this event 5.5-6 stars out of 10. So I voted 56-70%.

This isn't the best event content wise, and quest wise. The machanics of the event are decent so far, but I have a feeling that will change as we get into phase 2 and 3. Maybe I'm wrong, but overall this event is mediocre, but a decent kind of mediocre.

I'm interested to see what others think...

In fact I was thinking of making a similar thread but with stars, but you beat me to it.

Family guys event is wayyyyy better. They got ghostbusters, predator, and alien and a crap ton of other stuff.

The mechanics are interesting. It's moving a little slowly, but I have no doubts that I'll get all the prizes, and hopefully the supercollider. So yeah, I'm somewhere in the middle. Not super stoked like I was for stonecutters, but it's entirely enjoyable.

like it a lot so far, will like it more if I manage to get the Donut Torture Device before it vanishes... just a little over 1200 probes to go...

would like it a lot more if it was easier to get ammo to shoot down UFOs in the neighbors' yards, seems like I always have to let several go by because the bullets just aren't there...

I sorta/ kinda like it. Too much tapping, but at least no wheel of your going to get ****'d over games.

The treat bags are a little more wheel-like than I care for, but all in all it's not bad. I've been enjoying the event, though it is my first Halloween, so...

I'm enjoying that you don't HAVE to have 100 neighbors (just 30) to be successful, unlike some prior events. Also very much like that older characters/buildings are brought back into the event instead of just remaining as background decoration. Looking forward to the new content :D

I know it seems slow-paced, but that's because they've locked things up in three steps ... I mentioned before that I think this seems like three mini-events, and to be honest, I like it this way. There won't be weeks during which nothing is happening for a lot of hardcore players, as we had with the **** event, and to some extent with StoneCutters.

I'm not sure how happy or unhappy we're going to be when we learned the truth about how the carry-overs are going to work out. Part of me is worried that they'll throw a wrench in somehow for those of us who are close to crafting, say, the Grand Pumpkin, so I'm going to go ahead and pay whatever number of donuts I can get it down to at about the 12-hour-before-the-deadline marker. I'm already down to less than 40 donuts for the pumpkin and around 34 for the house, so I figure it will be within 50 total for both, and I'll go ahead and buy them just to be sure.

But I like the event a lot so far ... wish we could let our neighbors know we've been around ... :)

I voted 0-35. Only event that I've missed was the first Halloween event which btw, most people say was the best event to date. Each year, the event has less and less new stuff for us old timers and its * me off. I'm afraid theChristmas event will be the same as well. This event ranks among my least favorite and that includes the Whacking Day event from 18 months ago, which I enjoyed even though it was a serious grind.

I am enjoying the event so far. I have been able to get the prizes for week 1 without much effort. I was happy to finally get the ray gun. I have two of the crafted items and close to getting a third. Hopefully the change to ray guns will give a different challenge. Sending the kids trick or treating every 8 or 16 hours until November will get boring.

I like the event except for the amount of premium content. I think that previously free content should be obtained in a similar free way as previously done. And previous premium content can return as premium and if they would like to add a few new premium items they can do so. I just can't believe that anyone in their right mind would spend $100s a year on premium content. But that is the impression I get from the amount of premium content there is and constantly added.

This game has gone nuts with premium items lately, not that it's the only one. I kinda hate that they keep using old content as a crutch, instead of adding real new content. For older players this is extremely unfair. Also adding old limited time stuff for such outrages amounts of donuts is beyond me. It's money grubbing at it's best. I'd be a little more understanding of their truly new content was free but most of the good stuff isn't free. **** was decent but who wants hundreds of items that don't really look right in a modern city?

I'm loving all the prizes and the ability to get previously missed items; however, the endless grind of kids on trick or treat quests is dull. The quest lines need to be a little deeper.

There will be more quest on Monday. (I think they're trying a new way to stretch the event, make sure the storyline lasts all month.)

I like it pretty much. Although I wish we would've gotten more content & a little more variety.

Also wish we would've gotten the Blue Demon, House of Evil Shopkeeper & Gypsy Fortune Teller as playable characters.

Also would be cool to get a permanent task for the Bad Dream House, Pumpkin House & Ultrahouse 2.

This is my first Halloween event, I am enjoying it - the sounds, the trick-or-treaters, I bought a few premium items. I am doing pretty well but am not sure I will get enough to craft the Grand Pumpkin and Pumpkin house. But not matter - having fun.
