Spent so much time rearranging my springfield! But could do with getting some more land to spread it out a bit :)

Volcano lair surrounded by evergreens is a personal favourite though :D Best buy so far, just a shame hank scorpio isn't voiced (actor licensing etc)

I definitely take pride in my town and have a little OCD about it being "functional" e.g. I make sure the stores have an appropriate amount of parking, lol. While I understand the strategies behind house farming (and, yes, it does make coin harvesting easier), I like my town too much to go down that route.

Feel free to add me as I would love a few more friends with well crafted towns.

Did you end up expanding your penitentiary yet, I wanted to see what you came up with.

Maybe the original post is still relevant for the original poster, who also happens to be the bumper?
i.e., he's still looking for friends with the specific criteria?

    *****************************
(since I can't actually use the quote function until I'm "vetted")

echoes999 town is pretty creative; I'm glad I added him/her. It's fun to see what other people come up with when they give it some thought :)

I like my Springfield. You may not but who cares. I sure as f don't care. Do you know me? I just imagine all of those who complain about the orininallity of other's Springfields, how house farms are bad, why can't you drive a car through a drive thru, are just as obnoxious as the comic book guy in the show. Worst fans ever. Take enjoyment in your own life and enjoy what others have to offer to your's. I have to much pride in my own life to give a f about you. Judge how ever you'd like and run people out of this forum. Uppity f's ruin the world with their attitudes of superiority, give the world a break. The holidays are a time of giving so why don't you give the world a break and enjoy your own life. You can delete any Springfield you want so you never have to see them again.
Pride: I love and respect what I've done with my Springfield. I could give a f less if you like it or not. That's pride.
Sorry I already have 100 friends so please don't friend me.

There have been an influx of new threads about "pretty" towns or "non-ugly" Springfield's, which is pretty much the same message we have going here. So I thought I'd bring it to the top of the page so while they wait for the trickle of replies to their thread they can check out what we've been discussing here for a few days.

I might be alone here, but I think towns with more public buildings/ shops/ restaurants than homes look just as ridiculous as house farms.

First of all please keep your language or implied language respectable, this is an open forum for a cartoon based game definitely not the place for your language.

Second, for someone who has such little care for what others think you sure went through a lot of trouble writing a lengthy response. You're immature rhetoric which has done nothing to either further or diminish the cause of this thread.

Third, I could post a nastily worded retort but in the spirit of the season I will only offer you this: God bless.

I created my town without the help of friends for the first 2 months I played, and without any donuts. After the xmas update, I realized I needed friends to get the coins I needed. Added 100 friends and added a row of brown houses in order for friends to come in and get santa coins (I call that my ghetto).

But I like the look of my Springfield. Houses here, businesses there. And if you don't like it, I have a cemetery you can visit :P
