What does donut torture machine do? 900 probes away, 6 hours togo...115 donuts?

I just want to know if the task pays Donuts. I'm guessing not since I've heard nothing.

I know it places on the Boardwalk. I'm 1,000 Probes away. I think we're SOL.

It only has that task. It does not pay donuts. It's a fun deco, but I wouldn't pay that much for it.

We do have another opportunity to earn it(where Hugo Bart is...but later in event)....however I am not sure if timing/mode of acquisition affects the benefits/quest/ability to get something else. I am still about 3k away so I am giving up on getting it during this phase...

Gives Homer a 1.5 day task. No donut rewards.

The prizes don't go away, it can still be earned by squishing aliens - the game said that. It will just be harder or something to get all the prizes. The donut machine will convert to Ray Guns, but there's no official amount it will be as it hasn't switched over.

If it were me I wouldn't spend the 115 donuts to obtain it. I remember hearing that you might be able to craft it later on in the event if you didn't get it with probes.

Wish I could send over some of my probes. To me it doesn't appear as if the machine will
Produce real doughnuts. Homer is on the task for the first time in my SF (1.5 days) and the reward is 750 cash.
