starting at 8 and doing the last at midnight. That's how I'm doing it.
So in my opinion it's easily doable.
And if you're lucky with an ufo you can get a 50 guns boost.

ahhh yes, i forgot that you could get another 100 from the ones spawned the previous night.
still a lot of work imo
I know it's easier for me to check in throughout the day than many. My kids get me up super early and I get to come home from work for lunch. So I get to check in and clear my town at least every four hours (except for when sleeping).
Really disappointed, notice the drop from the previous 3 to only getting 2 for squishing aliens. This time it'll be much tougher to get the prizes.
Anything else change for the worse.
No according to the daily chart its 592 per day. You should end up at 7104.
Don't forget to count today as well so it would make 12 days in total
I'm at 464 currently, still have 1 rounds of trick&treat bags to open and about 2.5 rounds of squishing (250 guns)
And I did not hoard any bags for the next round.
It may be hard to keep up, but with good management doable.
Hmm my timer says 10 days and 19 hours. I would think the timer is the same for everyone. Maybe the daily charts are a little off.
Right you are, same for me. I guess the chart is off then. In that case you need to get 645 guns per day, which makes this quite more challenging than I expected. Bummer....
Well luckily I have 250 already. so no worries
Yikes. I think most people miss at least a few aliens while they're sleeping. I think all the hoarders are going to be lulled into a false sense of security because they got a big boost at the beginning and won't notice that they're slowly losing ground each day. Fortunately, I don't really care about the helicopter prize, so I won't set my alarm to squish aliens at 3 AM.
And let's assume you sleep 8 hours a day and you tap the last ones at midnight and start tapping again at 8. you would lose 4 hours of tapping since "correct me if I'm wrong" it buffers 50 aliens.
20 x 12 = 240 x 11 = 2640 x 2 = 5280
Taking the 990 from friends would result in 6270.
Should you have the license would result in 7260.
Actually you have no margin for error, if my calculations are correct.
Have to disagree. I didn't hoard any bags. After squishing in my town, visiting neighbors and leaving eggs I have 600 Ray guns. I have saved up the gremalien eggs since Wednesday night though so I dropped more than usual. I Shot down 10 UFO which yielded an extra 150 Ray guns as well. It's only 9 am and I'll have more aliens to squish throughout the day plus whatever gets left in my town. I bet by the time I go to sleep I'll have near 1,000.
Yeah it's going to be very tight. We are assuming that the aliens spawn at the same rate of 1 every 5 minutes. Also I remember reading that the max number of aliens at one time in a town is 50 with 30 more in a "bank". So far I have definetly not had any aliens banked by the game. Maybe that will change with phase 2. I'll find out tonight after work.
I still think it's possible to reach all the prizes with grinding. Like I mentioned earlier I had 11K probes at the end of phase 1. The only premium item I bought for the event was the kodos ray gun which has given me 3 ammo every day. The ammo has been a huge help. Also I hit 11K probes without the helps of gremalien eggs (had the glitch). that means on average I got 916 probes a day. Or about 250 more a day then I needed.
I do predict that gamers that had a hard time with phase 1 will have an even more difficult time with phase 2. We are basically be asked to collect the same number of ray guns a day as probes but with 2 ray guns per squish instead of 3.
I really don't care for the prizes this phase so if it looks like I'm going to be cutting it very close I may start hoarding in preparation of phase 3 in case phase 3 is harder then phase 2. Which we won't know untill we find out how many long protien strands we get per squish.
Well, you actually did some some hoarding there, so your point is a somewhat invalid.
My point is, anyone who didn't hoard (bags, ammo, eggs) is going to be playing catch up most of this phase.
