Just get out of the app & force-close it:
*Android - kill the app from the running apps area;
*Apple - bring up the active apps menu (double-click the button, or hold it for a couple of seconds - I can't remember which), then swipe the Simpsons app out of the list to force-close it.
When you get in again, it'll load back up to the main menu as it's restarting from scratch.
You still won't be logged in so make sure you tap the "log in" button in the bottom corner first. If you tap the rest of the screen it'll start the game again, and as there's no account logged in it'll do the tutorial again!!
OP, at a certain point you should see the Bart and Milhouse icon - tapping it will allow you to log out back to the main screen (on Android anyway). Since you have no use for the tutorial towns, you can just use donuts to speed past the lengthy tasks and get to the logout button.

catch is that can take like 5 minutes. which is an eternity in today's online world. the tutorial is very long.
it's really negligent to not have a button to go straight to the login at anytime. i've felt OP's frustration.
IF ANYONE STARTS A PETITION TO EA FOR A LOGIN BUTTON THAT'S ACTIVE THROUGHOUT THE TUTORIAL, please contact me i'll sign that immediately.
