That sucks. Sounds like you should be doing better. The only thing I can think of is to leave eggs to towns where they won't be squished. Good luck.

You only need 500 odd a day to get the prizes. IF you're playing as much as you are, you should be fine.

The predictions on the sticky thread were wrong. This phase ends tomorrow night. I thought I was a day or two ahead but turns out I was actually about fifty behind. OP needs about 700 a day

I'm having the same problem in my freemium "B" town (taxi4jt). I only get 3-5 Gremalien eggs a day there so it does very little good when I drop them in friends towns. I have also noticed that very few of my friends (same friends for both Springfields) drop gremaliens in my "B" town but they (most anyway) visit my main (premium) Springfield.

Also, I tend to leave my grem-alien eggs in towns that have collected little in the way of probes/ray guns. They are clearly not on as much so my aliens have a higher chance of returning 4 instead of 2.

I'm with you, OP. In both my towns, I'm way behind, and I don't know what I'm doing wrong besides having a Real Life (tm) and not being able to log in every 4 hours like clockwork.

Here's my typical schedule:
8am (breakfast), noon (lunch), 5-6pm (after work), 9-10pm (kids in bed).

It's only realistic to expect 2 trick-or-treat collections per day (and once per day for premium characters) on this schedule.

Ammo? Yeah, I get 4-5 a day max, and I have the Ray Gun.

Grem-Aliens, you get 4 per egg if you don't log in until they expire, whether or not the neighbor squishes the Grem-Alien. Not that I ever get enough to make a difference.

Friends, usually once per day but there's the whole 24-hour-cycle slippage that usually means 6 days a week not 7.

This has been fine for every other event (well, except Easter, but we know why that was such a screw-up) - how come EA have made it more difficult now? I can only think they want to make it more difficult so folks buy more donuts....

You need to collect 4hrs worth of probes/guns/strands (50) at least 4x times per day. For this phase that would have been 400 guns + 90 from visiting neighbors of the 650 needed daily. The rest would easily come from bags, eggs, ammo and germs.

I'm doing everything mentioned above. But still way behind.
Maybe my town isn't spawning correctly, or some aren't being counted. I don't know.

Pretty frustrating though.

I am 1000 behind with one day left.

I don't have max friends but I do have Over 20, I visit and play constantly last night I even stayed up a bit to trick or treat again, still need 1000 more any UFO seems to be a bronze bag or gummy bears, why gummy bear I don't know but I now have a lot of Gummy bears.

it appears the probes cam more from UFOs, also I drop tons of aliens in a town which the person doesn't tap them.

I try for 10 at a time, I get the 40 guns from this a couple times a day, but still I am behind.

I have school and cannot play Mondays and Wednesdays from 7-12:00 I play at 6:00 but Because of classes I can't play until I get home

we can always craft the hover copter but I want the grand pumpkin

I didn't get the donut torture device and I am not getting the helicopter in my second town (freemium) and I log on several times a day. This phase took me longer in my premium town than the first phase. I wish you could gift things to friends because I really don't care about the donut torture or hover/helicopter. I would rather have characters or buildings.

If you only get 8 hours of sleep per day, then you can collect trick or treat 3 times a day, squash aliens (every 4 hours, when the max 50 aliens in your town is reached) 5 times a day. This, plus the 90 neighbor actions, gives you 590 ray-guns, with about 30 treat bags giving you maybe on average another 30-50 ray-guns. You need 646 per day, so you should be fairly close even without counting ray-guns from UFOs (I think I must have gotten at least 300 just from UFOs, 150 just yesterday actually) and grem-aliens.

Note that for grem-aliens, the glitch that existed for **** also exists. So if you send out grem-aliens, close the game and don't log back in for at least 4 hours, then you'll get maximum currency for those (so 4 per grem-alien, regardless of whether your neighbor squashed them or not). You can easily get 500+ ray-guns during the entire phase just from grem-aliens, assuming you have good neighbors (I increased my neighbor count from 30 to 60 just for this phase, and it has really helped).

I actually play less than you I think, only trick or treat 2 times a day and squash aliens 4 times a day, but I'm still on track (this is without any of the donut based items that gives you extra currency, like the Ray Gun, portal or license). I got the Donut Torture Device too, with a day to spare, but the hover-copter will be close, but doable, at this point.

if ur doing like u said u are daily, u should be ahead.

maybe your tapping times are wrong. visit every 4 hrs to get maximum rigellians.

I made two extra accounts for holidays so I can control the taps. I've been collecting gremlins in all three towns, then the first feeder town dispenses ten gremlins to the main account. Go back to the main account, pop the gremlins, repeat with second feeder. Then I can drop gremlins in each and know they won't be tapped! In case you don't want to keep up with that, drop gremlins in the neighborhoods that are lowest on your leaderboard. If they have a score of 300, they've probably stopped playing and won't pop the gremlins.
