should i blow up my town?

I'm in the same boat.... Some aspects of my town I truly adore, and some is just where I was able to fit things. If I nuke my town it will be after this year's Christmas event.

yes, i have some beautiful spots that i dont want to touch yet some places i want to expand the size or tweak it here or there.

for example, my springfield elementary is so small that i could just fit willies shack and like 2 playground equipment. i want to expand it but there are other buildings surrounding it.

I have been redesigning large areas instead of nuking, because like many of you, I'm happy with some areas and not so much with other areas. I've been storing my 'less liked' buildings and expanding areas I do like. I've never cared about the multiplier factor of the game. I only put out what I like or am forced to put out in order to have a character in my town (the cracker factory comes to mind).

One thing to keep in mind, is if you planted Christmas corn, you might want to wait till after the Christmas update.

Wow, I did not think of that xD And I was planning to nuke my town after the Halloween event :/ Guess I'll have to do it manually OR wait 'till after Christmas :(

Also. Its practically impossible to landscape when everything goes white for the winter. Can't figure out which trees are which because they all have bare branches, shrubs and flowers are covered, etc.

I don't know when the snow comes ... But I wouldn't want to try to decorate my town when I can't figure out where stuff is. ;)

I did mine before the nuke button existed by clearing all the decorations then moving buildings to the corner. It's definitely worth doing when you catch up to max level and have spare cash. So much happier with my town now :)

Also, plan for updates. Leave spare plots for new buildings and/or design in redundant houses to replace with character ones as they're released.

I am sooo tempted to. My town looks horrible! I do have a lot of spare time at the moment. Doing it after the Christmas update sounds like a good idea!

it depends, do you have one or more exrtra squitport tiles than allowed , like via a glitch , then no you wont be able to rebuild squid port if you have even 1 over max. do you have 2 duplacate buildings? sutch as those which can only be built once, ie lemon tree? do you have glitch duplacates of carractors that run 2x as fast, sutch as 2 myan homers, not counting reg homer? if none of this is for you then nukeing is fine, for me i want to keep my 2 glitch super-speed myan homers lol so i cant nuke even if it litterly becomes a total mess.
