I'm sorry about your break up :(

I totally get what you mean about the game being a coping mechanism, though. I have had some bad luck over the last several months, and I find that playing the game and coming on to the Forum helps me to temporarily feel a bit better. Even with some of my chronic pain issues - it's like its not as bad when I am playing the game or chatting here. Good times and good people/discussions = Happy endorphins, I suppose.

Speaking of endorphins, if you want a healthier way to cope, go running. That's a great way to induce a sense of "euphoria". Wanna be lazy? Go eat chocolate or better yet, go eat hot peppers.
Or do what you are and just do something that you enjoy. Laughing will release endorphins. So will smiling.

P.S The main reason I wrote this...Relationships are hard. Don't let it get you down. I don't know what happened but I take most things as a lesson and I find most of the time that bad things that have happened to me have happened for a reason. You might not see it now but one day you will.

Brandon's right! Exercising or just simply going for a nice stroll is a great way to release endorphins!

And as for the relationship stuff, he's right. You will one day look back on it and see that you learned a great deal from it - whether it be about yourself, other people or just life in general.

I'm sure right now, though, it's hard to look that far ahead. Just try to stay positive and focus on the things that make you happy.

You know how when some people get sad they go to a bar and just drink their sadness away. I just came to a realization tonight that TSTO is exactly that to me.
My gf broke up with me tonight out of nowhere so I've been feeling down and TSTO has helped taking my mind off it. And then I had a huge urge to just buy a ton of donuts to get my mood up again but then I realized there's nothing premium left to buy. I have it all. So I'm hoping EA releases something new very soon.

Whereas most people would just go to a bar to get their minds off things, I guess I have a "healthier" way to cope with things. Haha.
Sorry to hear about your breakup. :(

I'm not going to lie, I did something similar about a year ago. I was sitting at home one evening and was very upset about something (not relationship-related), so I started drinking and bought a boatload of donuts. I kept drinking and proceeded to spend half of the boatload on miniature nuclear warheads.

    Unhealthy and wasteful? Yes.

But hey, at least I can call my Springfield a legit nuclear superpower.
