BTW, another option is to send Homer on joint tasks. There are so many to choose from ... Then you can store whatever building isrelated to his companion. :)

My favorites are to have Sacajawea Lisa caring for kidnapped turkeys, because the brown house has a small timer, and to have stonecutter Homer wear the stone of triumph because storing it won't disrupt anyone else's task. (I suppose the donut torture device would also be an option for the same reason.)

Easiest is to just set the tasks to expire around the same time on the day that an event is supposed to start. If they are early setting them on a 1-hour task won't cost you too much time if/when the event goes live.

If I have Cool Homer on one of his outdoor tasks, does storing the Cool Brown House release him even if he's not in it?

    Good thinking!

Regarding cool Homer, I just tried storing Burns Coffin while Count Burns was doing his 12 hour task and it didn't affect him at all so I suppose storing the cool brown house won't stop cool Homer unfortunately.
