Black Friday = Best sale ever!

People do need to work and sleep etc. Why would EA do something that will guarantee that people wont be spending.

Well if you want a deal enough you would be willing to set a timer and wake up for 2 minutes and get your deal then go back to sleep.

The point I was trying to make was that you cannot always be available to jump online - especially at work - and having a one hour window to get what you want may not be enough, in which case you wont spend the donuts and EA miss out. Thats all.

the items do continue to recycle back into the 24 hour timer... so, the real question is when does it actually end; ...midnight CyberMonday LPNintendo?

I see your point as well and I am just lucky enough that I can play while at work and I have no problem getting up at night on the weekend.

I like that it repeats, but I wish it were like 6 items for 6 hours, then rotate out.

Um, isn't this the exact point of Black Friday deals? Very limited time offers all ganged up at one time? Do you complain about missing out on a $199 TV from Best Buy because you can't get to the store at 6am?

Regardless, these deals are rotating back through so you have an even greater chance at getting the deal than those insane shoppers trampling each other at Walmart.

I love the sale as well! Don't mind spending money for donuts, but mainly for limited time items. With the rebate, it's finally worth getting the regular premium items.

Yes, I appreciate that I get to sleep through the night whilst everyone else has to slide out of bed at 0300 to buy Lard Lad or whatever, but absolutely nothing new ?
The only thing I didn't get in time was Krustys Mansion and I don't see that anywhere.

Thread title is best sale ever when it is actually the worst lol the deals are 20-25% discount. Last year we had 30% and the year before it was 40 or 50% donut discount

There was never a 50% discount.
I still have leftover donuts that I purchased last Xmas and got 20% bonus donuts and now I am getting an extra 25% off of actual items that never go on sale. That equals huge discounts and I even got my iTunes card at 20% off.
So I think I have maximized my donut value.

Bought a boatload today as i realized how much im spending on this game buying a truckload usually and how many extra donuts im missing out on. So i got the ferris wheel, planning on getting stuff like the pet shop,museum of national history,jimbo,manjula,lugash,lotto'n liquor and some decorations

When I was reading the post last night getting ready for this sale, I did not realize all the times were GMT. I guess the triptophan was really kicking in and I couldn't pay enough attention in my drowsiness. Anyway, I thought getting up at 8:30 AM Est today was fine. When I saw Fiddler listed as the first item, I thought for sure that the list I saw last night was just in the wrong order. But I guess I actually already missed out on the first several items. Which really stinks because those were some of the things I was considering purchasing. D'oh! Now I gotta wait for the rewind on the sale.
