Here is my question: 12-21-12 will hit Australia waaaaaay before where I am located in the US. In fact, I'm pretty sure it's the 21st already. Is the world going to blow up in segments? Or is it going to wait until a specific time zone hits 12-21-12?

oddly, if the end of the world ends EST, it will coincide with my gaining enough cash for the last plot of land...does the world hate me? we'll find out soon enough...

You are right, I went back it it is still at 5 hours.
Mexico has passed the midnight hour and all is well, ha ha.

The clock is set for 11:11 utc, or Greenwich time...which means 5:11 here in Chicago.

Also...ignores the fact that the Mayans didn't take into account leap years, which were established by Julius Caesar. Technically the world should have ended about four years ago. :shock: Which isn't that much fun.

Oh well, we have the fiscal cliff to look forward to at least!
