black friday

I partly agree with you. you know who is to blame as well the shops. They have ridiculous prices. I heard one company where going to offer a lucky customer their shopping for a penny. I was shocked to see what I saw on TV and was even more so when I heard a 5 year old boy trying to rob a tv of an adult. ****. I think it should be scrapped. It happens every year. Am embarrassed to see people act in that manner.
The bit I don't agree with. I wouldn't like to see people kill to steal. Why not steal the product without harming anyone.

I've got a nice Chianti with your name on it...
Yeah it should be a whole week they should call it black week or discount week.
Something about the culture of violence seems to give Black Friday a bad reputation elsewhere. Maybe some people need to get a grip. Its just a bunch of stuff thats been replaced with newer stuff, that nobody will buy at full price any more.
My family participates in this unofficial holiday ever year but we do it with good reason- we can't afford much so most of the items on our lists are on sale this day. We have good reason for going early: since both of my sisters work this is the only time they can go and since many of the stores are too far out of walking distance and only one of us drives we have no choice but to go early or miss out.
That's happened before as well, people have had their new TVs stolen right out of the carts while being escorted to the car by sales people...the stores have to hire armed police to keep vultures away from the easy pickings in the parking lot.
You did remind me of another, even worse situation- the scumbags who steal packages off of porches, stoops, staircases, mailboxes during this time of year knowing that people buy online. So much more being bought online, so much is being intercepted and stolen because it's so easy to do.
so why do cops hang outside the stores? shouldent they be inside to PREVENT peaple from doing this instead AFTER the crime? and yea we order stuff online alot and always worry about peaple stealing pagages that are left outside instead of given to us, even my and my moms kindle fire hds, the only thing had to acualy sign for was a laptop well if it gets stolen claim it and the company looses.
They are inside as well for that very reason but for Black Friday the stores hire additional officers to be on duty due to the crowds outside as well. Plus they also ensure that the stores don't cause stampedes by only allowing a certain number of people to entire at a time and enforcing the maximum number of people allowed inside at a time laws.
But this is from my own area of the country particularly the three cities I have shopped in, not cities/towns/counties/states follow this which causes the idiotic stampedes that have been seen.
As good as the prices are I wouldn't do it, but if I had zombee with me id go for sure!
Maybe they should of had a take an empty box to the counter system, that may of worked abit better than the snatching, I felt bad for the staff though,
Same here, there's no point in having it here.
