Did anyone buy king winters cave? it looks really small! does he have tasks. Seems like a lot for 175 D

    yes he does

    Thanks!

Awe, he doesn't have event currency. WTH!? That sucks.

I'm debating on this too, seems awful expensive!

And no event currency! I have buyers remorse....

With everything that is offered it makes it even more rich ib content than Christmas2012&2013 together!

Also the currency is the presents but not like last year!

2 phases with 16 free decorations and buildings
19 doors to open with 1 decoration, 1 elf to work on more xmas currency and 100 bonus as well! This is the most generous Christmas event so far!

As for the Winter King... Well have you seen the size of the freemiums? I think that EA got it this time. we will see how it goes though in a couple of days.

I wasn't saying I didn't know what the currency was. i was saying that king winter or whatever doesn't earn it. which is annoying.

Looks like someone jumped ahead , I did that in the past events, but with the timing of the update, most of the build time will be when I'm sleeping, think I'm going to not speed it along.

    of course I did.

Does anyone know what comes after the 12 hour Build the Toy Workshop? Anything I can get started on as the building builds?

I was wondering if there were any specific tasks that came next. I thought I saw at the beginning of the thread it mentioned a Homer task.

Not sure how to put it in spoiler tags- so if you don't want to know then move long...
from Grinch OuterHaven: Mayor Quimby starts off the event "People of Springfield!" (Lots of dialogue). Then you must build the 'Toy Workshop' which takes 12 hours to build.

After which, Homer prompts and you have to do the quest, Make Homer Melt Snow for 24 hours.

Then Ebenezer Burns prompts and you do 'Make Ebenezer Burns Ignore Holiday Warning' for 60 minutes.

If you have Barney, a side quest triggers 'Make Plow King Print Off Flyers' for 60 minutes.

After which, Santa Flanders prompts 'Make Santa Flanders Get Slightly Too Religious As Santa for 8 hours

I had read this and thought I could have Homer Melt Snow while the building was building.

I didn't get any prompt to build elf tunnels - and I see that people are also talking about a lot of other tasks as well. I sped up building the workshop but I only got a prompt to send Homer and Lisa to make toys (Santa still doesn't have any tasks). Did I do something wrong? Sorry for my ignorance - this is my first Christmas event!

Cool thanks. When I was reading through the thread I saw that and it didn't seem right so I wanted to check to see if anyone else confirmed.

The elf tunnles are after the quest. This is entirely different from last year so not just you. It's a bit confusing.

This is normal. Kodos didn't earn event currencies during either halloween event nor did the Grumple last Christmas.
