I wasn't saying I didn't know what the currency was. i was saying that king winter or whatever doesn't earn it. which is annoying.
I just find it too early to have to deal with the usual why there not everything for free and that is so expencive part of the update yet. To be honest Im thrilled so far and I havent been pleased with tsto for a long time.
As for the walkthrough so far and what it entails:

The concept has been taken from the snow cutters event (1 riddle per day). If you complete everything in 24 hours (3 quests) you also get 100 presents currency.
Make Homer Get bossed around by elves 12h
When your neighbours update you will be able to get 6 presents from 3 actions (3actionsx2presents=6)

1st award Christmas Float 580 presents
2nd award Frosty the Hitman
3rd award Toy Workshop Bell
4th award Sponsored Church (Skin)
5th award Festive Light Plunger
6th award First Ever Christmas Tree

Lucky me. The time my characters on 24hr jobs finish is the time the workshop finishes building seeing as the loading screen has elves I'm surprised the elf home from last year is still generating cash - maybe that'll change further into the event

No where in my post did I say there wasn't enough free stuff. All I did was ask a question. Feel free to ignore me if you think it's too early. But frankly I am tired for the judgey crap about using donuts to speed through the building to start the event.
Hi guys,
I rushed the 12h Santa's shop. After that I checked the old christmas buildings in my inventory for event currency payouts.
So far last years elf houses, metallic christmas tree and the regular christmas trees payout event currency.
Make sure to check your inventories so you don't miss out on some extra presents.

They show that they pay out presents but you don't get the currency......glitch maybe? Plus had a neighbour just visit and no presents that way either.

You both have to have the update and the toy store built

Does anyone know what comes after the 12 hour Build the Toy Workshop? Anything I can get started on as the building builds?
quests, and building elf tunnles.
I didn't get any prompt to build elf tunnels - and I see that people are also talking about a lot of other tasks as well. I sped up building the workshop but I only got a prompt to send Homer and Lisa to make toys (Santa still doesn't have any tasks). Did I do something wrong? Sorry for my ignorance - this is my first Christmas event!
The elf tunnles are after the quest. This is entirely different from last year so not just you. It's a bit confusing.
Thanks for the clarification - it is really confusing!

Do they have a deal with Apple? I think that was the first platform it came out on.
There does seem to be a lot to it this year, which is awesome.
