    Very nice!
    My 2.0

I was influenced to use the candy cane cooling towers and balloon.

I put mine in the industrial park area, adding to the air pollution. Clausco does not pay much for production facility space when they have that pricey class A corporate office tower uptown!

Notice Krusty and Santa working some kind of shady toy deal. What's cheaper, Chinese or elf labor?
All my designs look unfinished because i can't place as many plants, streetlights, and fences as i would like. PLEASE REMOVE THE LIMIT, EA!

Yes! I have to agree so much, obviously haha. I feel bad for using it now.
I have used influences in the past. A great idea is a great idea :)

Thanks everybody :) I saw those tiny smokestacks and just immediately knew they needed to get beefed up.

I tried something with the cooling towers, but comparing it to how Neuroheart placed hers, I decided to tear it down and go in a completely different direction. It's not just a great idea but how you pull it off.

Edit: now if only I had enough reindeer to steal Velina's sleigh setup...

I just wanted to add how great so many of these designs are. It's always nice to see so many different interpretations with the same available ingredients, and these are stellar. Keep 'em coming!

I agree! There are some really, really nice Holiday areas here. Reminiscent of all the great designs back during the Stonecutter event. Loving it!

I always regretted not making a Christmas themed area in my town last year. Happy with this in my town for this season:

Thanks neighbor! I promise to get working on the rest of my town soon. Let me add that I'm always jealous when I drop into your sweet town. Lucky to have you as a neighbor, as most (all) of your friends would agree!

I mentioned earlier that I tore down my Toy Workshop when I saw what Neuroheart did. When I saw this, I tore down the surrounding area! The grand scale is what first impresses, but it's those little winding roads that stick in my mind. I'm grateful to have neighbors that force me to up my game, but man, you all are making me work!

Agreed! This thread seems exceptional to me. I avoid the Showcase forum until I get an idea of what I want to do. For that reason, I've commented on the designs I had already seen in neighbors' towns, but I could go on about all of them. For instance, I have a thing for angular geometric designs so Scott's (MrJuan's) and Elian's designs are especially appealing to me, and Henpot's idea is, of course, brilliant. I don't remember a thread with so many good ideas arriving so fast.

A hearty "thank you" to Pinpal, Bette, and Barry.

@Bette - great design! Similar aspects to mine, just not as over the top. :D I like how well it works within the surrounding area and of course the paths using those bushes work quite well. It looks like I've got to get that Egg Nog Bar in there some where too - it belongs with the Christmas area!

Hope you don't mind a stitched together your photos just to get a better idea of the bigger picture...here it is in case you wanted to use it...if not no big deal. http://i.imgur.com/YfdDPY3.jpg?1

@Pinpal & @Barry: I hope I've said it before, but it's great to have neighbors like you gentleman. Always something new going on or tweaks being made in addition to those already exceptionally designed and creative towns. :D

Thank you. I don't mind at all. I've never gotten around to doing the stitching thing.

Likewise, dude. If I had to pick one person who has inspired and driven me to do better in my town since I found this forum, it would be you 10 out of nine times. Although I am very blessed to have an incredible neighbor list, you helped me when I joined and my dream of a go kart track in my town only came to fruition after being inspired by just seeing yours.
    I promised myself I wasn't going to cry.... :D
