Gameplay: 8/10 - Snow looks great as usual. Random spread of Xmas tasks, & gradual unlock of factory tasks (inc. some love for premium characters!!) as well as Elvish helpers was a nice tweak. As usual though, most presents come from only one avenue (elves/factory tasks every 4hrs) instead of a few more "equal" options for players. Stonecutters tasks made a return in the form of Tunnels, which was an improvement on the novel idea - being able to see all tasks before starting was good, as well as a bonus for quick completion.

    Prizes:
    - Accumulation 5/10 - Very ho-hum prizes. 2 ordinary NPCs, 1x building skin, 3 decorations with no % bonus that I've already stored after doing the item's quest. At least the Bell and Plunger had practical, Event-related feature to redeem them.
    - Tunnels 7/10 - Lights are nice, & great that they gave newer players the chance to get previous Xmas items for "free" (but sucks that they didn't get to choose between the 2 options). The decorations that you could already buy with cash were letdowns, but a character & the Cabin were great end-game prizes (even if the cabin doesn't pay out cash or a % bonus). Nice as side prizes.

Glitches: 7/10 - Didn't experience any that weren't fixed by a refresh of the game (or visit to KL & back again). However, I know others had issues with getting elves, missing prizes etc. so marked down slightly for that. The donut prize "counter" issue is still annoying - they fixed it for Xmas last year (after having the same issues for Halloween 2013 as now), but it's been stuffed again ever since!! Come on EA. :(

Social Aspects: 7/10 - better than other events, but not as good as some. Incentive to visit at least 40 friends is a plus, but such a low payout per tap is a minus. Feds are interesting & were a great development, but they could've come a bit earlier into the questline instead of a week+ after the start.

    Overall: 34/50 = 68% Being Xmas, I'll round up to 70% = C

I voted C. It probably would have been B, but I got a lot of new things and no new land on which to put them. The lack of new land drops the event an entire letter grade. Sorry, not sorry.

I would give it a C. I love the way you get prizes but I just don't like the prizes themselves... The only thing that could of made this event better is community prizes. If they had those then it would get a B.

A "C""- had a lot of glitches and many tunnel prizes were things we could buy with cash last year. I already had 20 candy canes why did I need another. I wish they would have given a reindeer. I did like the cabin though, that is one of my all time favorite episodes.

I'd give it a B to a B-. Only one multiplier prize, storyline and elf tunnel tasks overlapping causing some to panic and rush with donuts, and several bugs were a big problem. Other than that it was a decent phase and hopefully the next phase will be more interesting.

    C
it wasn't horrible, but it was glitchy with quite a few underwhelming prizes for a lot of grinding.
Candy canes as a prize? I bought like a trillion of those last year. If they would have given the repeats
a multiplier it would have been different. I must admit though on some Stockholmy level I like a good
glitch or two as it keeps the forum lively, but missing characters, Zutroy are kinda unacceptable.

Well, if I was a teacher grading this as an assignment...

    A for effort.

    F for technical flaws.

So a C to average the two.

As for the tunnel I liked the cabin even though it's a decoration Wiggum house and house boat was the best facades

Houseboat? I collected all the tunnel prizes and phase one prizes didn't see this one. i have a houseboat, but no facade.

It's the alternate prize of the tunnel in which you got the Ice God.

Gameplay (A): I like the phases as they extend the event, extending daily task completion time, and how they got rid of the saving up for a random chance at a prize like last Christmas.

Prizes (B): Christmas lights for more houses and few winter themed items for fans of the show.

Stability/Timely bug fixes (C): Game is crashing more frequently the last few days and there's an issue with the Fed count.

Neighbor play (A-): Ability to get neighbors involved is always enjoyable. Still don't get why EA is limiting the number though. Between that and limiting the max number of Feds per town, I'm just guessing it's a database limitation.

Overall (B): I'm enjoying myself without having to spend an excessive amount of time playing.
Regarding the comment in Neighbour Play, limits on number of presents from neighbours is ALWAYS going to be for pacing reasons -- they don't want you to just unfriend/refriend all your neighbours to blow through the targets in a single day, which I gather used to occur before the limits were added. The limitation on number of Feds is basically the same but there's an added performance reason -- if someone were away for a couple days and came back to hundreds or thousands of Feds in their town they might not be able to start the game any more due to the number of moving characters.

(Also note that there's a workaround for the missing Feds, which will probably also avoid missing Zutroy, although only if you haven't completed all the tunnels yet.)

Otherwise I basically agree with your other points.

I liked it. Interested to see what the elf cannons and islands are about in the next phase.

Agree. B for prizes is a bit generous since I had most from Christmas past. I especially liked the tunnel tasks and overall game play.
