Did everyone's Feds disappear with the update or just mine?

Yeah, the tunnel/feds glitch has definitely got worse with the update. The tunnels in both my towns now never open and the feds are invisible (even though you hear the siren) when I first log in. Even going to and from kl, I come back to only a couple feds, but certainly not a 'full' town of them. Sooo frustrating.

I got them but not so many... As long as you can drop them in neighbors' towns that's OK with me if they don't show up, I don't need the presents from them anymore.

Feds were around before my friend visits but after the update - after friend visits, no fed and cannot access tunnels (have won all but is just a quick test to see if this is the problem)
Visited KL twice and now working.

Loads of handshakes in me town but not a single fed to be seen.

I know I cleared me town before going to bed, so it's a bit odd.

I am finding atm that certain quests are completing but won't finish and pay out unless I log out of the game and then back in again, when it comes up with the box saying congrats and gives me the reward.

Very glitchy time in game it seems

As I mentioned in the other thread, the workaround that I had been using to ensure the tunnels and Feds behaved themselves has sadly stopped working with this latest update.

I got 4 feds so far after multiple syncs. Lone handshakes with no feds as well. Finding more success with visiting a friend's town as a sync than going to KL to get them to show up since update. But still worse off.

Yes, getting the siren but no visible Feds since the last update. Sent Feds into my town from my 2nd town and they never showed, and vice versa. Also not getting the task complete pop-up until I go to KL or come back from the friends screen.

In one game Apu got the 2nd part of his quest and is now on a 4 hour task to search for Christmas trees and Homer is doing Jinglebell Wreck Pt13 and dressing up as Santa. These have yet to trigger in my other game despite being at the same stage and characters were free.

Friend visits are crashing out again.

I did get Zutroy and have 27 elves but since the update it's very buggy.

I had the feds/tunnel glitch before the update, I still have the feds/tunnel glitch now. Seems worse if SSB is on the loose, or on the second round of elf tunnel tasks.

Sometimes, if I don't see any feds right when I open the game screen, I can tap the neighbors button and then sync back to the main game screen, and the feds will all come back. But not always. And it only seems to work if you sync the game fisrt. If you get a message on the screen (SSB is in your town or whatever), DON'T TAP IT. Close the game and re-open. You MIGHT get your feds back.

Pretty lame. I think I would have finished the first round a day early if I didn't have this problem. And/or I might have gotten some donuts at the end. Either way, it's lame that it's been going on a couple weeks.

Having this problem as well, and the one with the quest line not continuing unless I reset (visit neighbors and return). I have multiple quests running ATM including one regular quest and they are all doing this so it's not just the Christmas stuff affected.

I had neither Feds or Zutroy first thing. Later on I went into the game again and found a few Feds walking around. Even though I'd checked time and again I looked in my inventory and guess who was there? Yes - Zutroy.

This is weird. Zutroy's quest hasn't started but I think I'll leave it at that.

Just went back into my Springfield again and found handshakes but no Feds again.

Abu finished the 1st part of his quest and I sent him to make toys. Then I noticed a donut in the task bar. It listed Apu's task and said Done. I went out and in again and then it gave me the XP. The donut disappeared and I've had nothing else.

It's a shame about the glitches as I've enjoyed a lot about this event. (pity the prizes aren't a patch on last year's!)

What's happening is your town is falsely displaying it's overrun with Feds so your neighbors are just tapping buildings. Hard restart seems to help temporarily. I've been seeing this the last few days even though I only have 1 or 2 Feds running around. Tried clearing cache and reinstalling the game but that only helped temporarily as well.

When you start seeing handshakes and you know your town isn't full of Feds, check your tunnel. If it doesn't open then do the restart.

I've been having this issue - even after getting the tunnels to open, it was still a really low number of Feds being left. I think it seems to be a little better today, but now my Jingle Bell Wreck Pt. 14 won't complete.
