I don't know what's going on but I'm having the same problem and just posted a topic virtually identical to yours.

Having the same problem. Problem began when I tried to log in after the second Christmas part started.

Also crash on login for me, on multiple ipads. Reinstalling didn't help.
My spouse's account works fine.
One difference is, I had Lisa and Homer in the toy workshop (I think).

Same here. It only affects certain accounts, as my brother's account works fine, but mine crashes on several devices during the loading screen. I hope they fix this quick, I really don't want to be behind too much.

Same here! My partners works fine, mine just crashes on load screen on my iPad

Same exact issue here. After the update, the game crashes on loading screen on three separate devices (Android and iOS). Origin, please address this soon as we are missing part 2 of the event.

Same for me on multiple platforms. I wouldnt bank on a remedy until after Christmas. :0(. I think if somebody offered me the money back that ive spent on this game id happily take the dosh and delete it. Too many issues now. Having said that it wasn't a bad event i was kinda enjoying it.

My husband's works fine, but mine is keeps crashing at loading screen. I've been enjoying the event but it has been a very buggy.

Game repeatedly crashes as soon as I log into it. Donut turns once than crashes.

Not working ALL DAY. Fix please before Christmas is over and it's 2015.

I am having the same problem in both my towns. iPhone 6+ and iPad mini. I had just purchased Gil's deal and don't even know if the deal went through.

I've pretty much missed all the bugs and glitches in the last year I've played until this event. I lost my Christmas corn when Cletus got stuck in a task. The only way to remedy it was to store the farm. Homer's sleigh ride task was stuck for most of yesterday, finally clearing late last night, and now I can't get past the splash screen.

Playing on an iphone 5s, ios version 8.1.2
