Adding myself to the list, haven't been able to get on since this morning. Tried reinstalling, cleared cache, the works but no luck. Hoping that I can atleast get on for a minute to get the free christmas items before they're gone.
Just adding to the list. Seems to have been triggered after task of Homer standing on the Elves' door. Game crashes on my Galaxy S4 (KitKat) and the old Galaxy S2 (Jellybean). Doesn't appear to OS centred however as multiple platforms are reporting the issue. Kinda bummed at missing out on any TSTO Christmas goodies. I'm sure it'll be fixed soon.
I am having this issue too. Got the update last night. Put Homer on 4h task. Woke up this morning and game kept crashing. A couple hours later, my game gets stuck on the Bart screen. My other account works. The account having issues doesn't work on multiple devices. Don't want to miss out on the Christmas quests/event.

Unfortunately, Tapped Out has stopped. I try to go into game and have been getting this message box since yesterday afternoon. I have been lucky not to have problems untill this started. The game card i got for Christmas is sitting right here and i cant use it.
I have the same issue too. I am not able to pass the log in screen and then it closes; It is being like that since I placed the cannon in the Christmas 2014 event part II. I am missing the game, and sure I don't want to miss part II of the Christmas 2014 event.

Same problem for me. It appears to be an account issue. I can play anonymously and my wife's account is fine, but I can't log in and play under my origin account. Really glad I didn't waste money on Gil.
I play on a Kindle Fire HD, same problem can't login, so all of these xmas goodies that were announced today and are only good to get for today, are doing me no good.

Same here been trying all day and been out for at least 14 hours (lasted was able to log in was 1 am it's 3 pm now. I even got message to come back to springfield cause it's over run with elves and still nothing

After that, throughout the day, I noticed strange things like questlines disapppearing, jobs not paying out, two of my friendship donuts vanishing, and the Sideshow You booth not working.
Last night, I sent Homer to sit on elf cave. It's noon again and I haven't been able to log in since.
I cleared the cache, reinstalled the game, and even tried playing anonymously. In anonymous mode, it works fine. Try to log into my own Springfield and... instant crash.
