There is a massive amount of players who can't login because the game is screwed up. Are these free things going to be held over until someone from EA gets to work tomorrow?

And you still may not get them. Logged in, message said that the Duff tree would be in my inventory, but no tree. I feel cheated. I normally I don't play with cheats.

This is exactly why, even though I want too....especially with the sale, I have problems being justified buying Donuts. You can spend all this money on digital on-line only items and something like this can happen or the game can just end with nothing to show for it. Unless free, I do not invest any time into any on-line only games. Been at least 12hrs locked out of the game for me now.

At least with TSTO, if I know it's coming to an end, I can take a screen shot of my whole town and make a poster out of it! So at least i have something to show for it all.

But more the reason you should buy LLD now! Enjoy your lump of coal! Only EA would turn a Christmas present into a marketing trap.
At least we get the tree, assuming I can log in once the quest finishes.

Here's hoping the beer tree will be available (for free) when I'm finally able to log in days from now and to an event extension if this proves to be a grind.

With all of the bugs and glitches with this event, I would put money on the fact that EA will offer an extension.
