I'd just like to declare that I too cannot be getting on the game on iPad or iPhone, meaning like everyone else I'm missing out on Elf Bells-and I was a day or two from getting the Ralf Skin. If this persists any longer EA need to have a plan to reimburse those who now won't get all the items available, or complete all the quests going on right now. Not happy.

I can't understand people having such a hissy fit over a game. Why should developers work on a national holiday? Yes fine for essential workers but for a game... Our gas boiler sprung a leak this morning (now that's what I call essential) and a guy was out within 30 minutes. We rewarded him with a bottle of wine.
Developers no, support team yes, particularly if they are taking people's money. Your engineering company was on the ball because you are paying them, these EA muppets should do the same.
I have been trying for the last 5 1/2 hrs to get in the game. I have been in approximately 2 mins - otherwise
cannot even make it to the first screen. What is happening? This has been happening way too much.
I was on just this morning and everything was fine. Now my donut spins for 15 seconds and then I'm getting the server error message! I'm getting stressed as I've been grinding for these prizes and now I likely will miss the last one, just like the Christmas part! What is this I'm hearing about hackers and server attacks? Where is this info coming from?
I was just wondering, is there anyone who CAN get on?

Was able to get on earlier. However, now I keep getting the Bart disconnection screen. It'd be nice to KNOW when an issue happens (I.e. posting on your Facebook, Twitter, etc.) FYI, a long time player just quit your game and more are soon to follow. For this reason, please fix the game, let us know what is happening, and please reimburse our trouble and loyalty to a glitchy game with some donuts. There are members who have been locked out of the game for weeks.
My husband and I can't get on either. I got on for 2 minutes this morning. Did homers first two 3 minute tasks and my cannon didn't let me fire and elves, just started the 3 hour count over again. Been locked out since (it kicked me out). My husband hadn't been able to get on at all.
I have been getting intermittent outages on and off ever since midnight EST. But I was able to log on and launch off the elves at midnight, 3AM EST, 7AM EST, (forgot to log on at 10), and just now I haven't been able to log on at all. Probably from everyone waking up and trying to log on at the same time. I'm guessing there's also a clock somewhere at EA that says December 32, 2014.
edit: and I was able to send Homer on the 24 hour task.
I agree that EA needs to, at the very least, extend the event so we have extra time to get all the prizes. It would also be nice if they would throw a few donuts out to say "sorry we took your money but you ccouldn't play on your only day off this week"
Getting out the deerstalker and pipe and wondering what the problem is. So:
1. Not the servers/ddos attacks because other Origin games that use the same servers are working.
2. Started today, following the introduction of a quest that pays out donuts.
3. Other bugs include a broken SideShow You that pays out donuts and the disappearing donuts from cannon handshakes.
So, my guess is EA has a problem with paying out donuts. I think the solution is clear. Look lively devs, spitspot!

Definitely! They usually only give donuts to the ppl who complain to them (whereas this time they should give them to everyone seeing as it's obviously a global issue) but you can't even complain to them at the minute because they're closed :roll:

Same here. While I've had the intermittent disconnect, this is the first time I've been completely locked out on all devices and networks.
