 Mine was the Homeland CG. That's when I came over to OT and have stayed since.

I joined the forum around Valentines 2013, and I think all the hustle and bustle on the forum during that event made me stay.

The Homeland CG also. I wouldn't be on the forum if it weren't for the CGs, I haven't been in GD in months and haven't played the game properly since the Clash of Castles update. Heck, I deleted the app to free up space the other day

I cant remember a certain thread. But the friendliness and humor of all of you, mostly in OT has kept me here.:) I think I came to the boards during whacking day and decided to join around Halloween.

Edit: I'd rather not admit how I came to know about these forums, but am quite glad I found them. I lurked for a few months before joining in the discussion - started in GD initially for info, then to the showcase.... ultimately found a home in OT, though not posting as much as I once did. Hard to keep up with you fine folks

It was because I needed neighbours and stumbled across this forum. It was the design section that got me hooked though...

I lurked for awhile, then the tile tapping thread happened. I liked what I saw and needed neighbors in the know. and the rest is history. 8)

I joined after JoshSherer and spAnser got mentioned in game, and they were talking about it on one of the blogs. I didn't even know the forum existed before then. But I didn't start posting/participating until the Christmas event.

I lurked for quite a while but became more active recently because I've been off work for medical issues.

I had been lurking for so long with just the occasional post. I'm not sure what made me actually be active, apart from the fact I had really been lurking for a very long while.

I think I started being active just to earn some quality neighbours. I tried finding the nicest people to be my neighbours, by offering up signature designs like McTattie... That... didn't exactly go as planned. :XD: Looking back, I probably should have just PM'd people I wanted to be neighbours with instead.

Before all that though, I had stumbled on to the forum by digging up info for the springfield guide, and found a link to Paulzuk interative guide map in the Faq's and guide section.

I came to the forum to find solutions to the Christmas 2012 lock-out and again Easter 2014 disaster. I started posting in GD to get on the weekly Top Posters thread.

Also I found Ratman threads and laughed at him for awhile. Then Jim and I annoyed each other for a bit. And then I tried to be helpful to Khodro until his threads started to get a little too "weird." I took a break and now I'm back and goofing off/having fun in OT these days.

oh crikey! that's going back a while....I think it was just to find neighbours, then found some awesome guys that made me feel at home then Booom!!! I stayed......but I can remeber when my town crashed out on Valentine's day where a kind lady.....Jen130 (somthing like that). and a bunch of others would log in on your town on their fones to fix the Valentine's Day bug. it was fantastic community spirit that helped other and you had to put your trust into them to sort your town out......

the bottom line is the community here has a specialy vibe that other forums don't have, certain members made me feel very welcomed from the very start...even as a newb at the time  ........sure I must of upset some with the constant posting I did tho

sadly some people come and go some stay for years....Iv been here since 2012 (so my xbox account says, that's before I new to make my skyrim persona )

countless memories and fantastic people iv met over the years. a lot of faces have changed ,miss a lot of people, but very happy to see the new faces too.

    good times

I think I just found that being on the forum really enhanced events for me. I found suggestions on maximizing currency and discussion about what to look forward to, and it just made Tapped Out more fun. So here I am.

I had just created an origin account because I didn't want to lose my game activity. Then I was just searching the internet and found some sites mainly for help with the game. At first I found wiki simpsons and that helped. Then I saw this site but thought nothing of it. then I needed more help then took a gander on here my first port of call was the game discussion. I didn't post. Then again I was reading the internet on the simpsons characters and found am idea for an level update a new character fit fat Tony so I made my first thread. Then I made more threads then I missed out December in 2013 to which I don't know why. Then i looked on off topic section I stumbled on a thread which simpsons character are you. So I took part in the quiz after following the link. And I got homer. (Woohoo). Then later in the year I decided to quit the forum but people power made me stay (stupid people power). Then I quit the game only to start again because someone hacked my account. To which I let Davo take it over. Then again I dropped the bombshell again that I was leaving the forum for good and this time people power won't win I will :) so that's my short story :lol:

I first joined to find neighbours and I remember asking a couple of questions in GD, but I can't remember what made me start posting regularly. Somehow I switched from being a regular poster in GD to a regular over here, where I happened to make some cool friends that I love chatting to! :D

I'm not sure :P In the OT probably the first CG made me an active member, but I guess the good morning thread was my initial hook.

I found it Googling hints about gameplay and free donuts. :-) I came to OT out of curiosity after awhile and found the first CG. As others have said, there are great people in here. ((Hugs))

Whacking day. Turned out one of my great neighbours (Maegnificant) was on here also and showed off her awesome designs, which encouraged me to add mine.

Alas of late I've mainly been lurking, keeping a dino watch over everything ;)

Ps. I rarely visit the OT forum.... Just stick to the gameplay
