Is your device's default language set in English? The game goes by whatever language the device is set for.

Hi Ruby, i am dutch as well amd encountered the same. If you go to the store, you will see an icon top right next to the camera icon. Tap that and then you can see an option called language (of talen misschien indien Nederlands) you can select English there.

You can change the language in-game in the settings (build menu).

Go to the store.

Tap the gear in the upper right corner of the box.

At the bottom of the next popup, tap languages.

Select English.

I like it in Dutch. When i read the dialogs in English, i'll tap them away without reading it. Dutch its easier, but indeed, not allways more fun. Stupid translated jokes and tasks...
