squidport

I rarely have people get stuck down at squidport because I think it's hard for them to get to; they'd have to go through a parking lot first, its not on the end of a road.

However I was thinking like you, that I have not seen an elf on the Pier. Until today. One was out there. It was probably one of the longest periods of me not logging in lately so I guess it finally had enough time to get that lost! Heh

So I notice most of my Springfield s residents like to hang out at the squidport whether they are on a task or not are other people's towns folks the same ....except for the elfs not one ever found on squidport

I guess I never really leave my characters off task for long enough to find out. I start the next task required or, if not, put them on a task in my time frame. I don't have any characters that just wander. How long do you leave your characters off task?

I usually don't but if it is an outdoor task I would say 70% of my town folks can be found on the squidport

Most of my NPCs seem to hang out at squidport most of the time.

I find an elf on squidport almost daily. I also have about 5 denizens there at any given time tasked or not. I don't know why luanna thinks it's safe to exercise in her ball when I don't have any fences up. Maybe her ball floats.

I've also found many elves at squidport.
I do also find it is a common destination for characters when left to walk around a while

Since having latly bad luck with characters setting on tasks just before a update rolls in, i never do that again, they wander around, only when i go to work/sleep i do 8h or 12h tasks, not that i need the cash (22million) and all build.

Also now they are finisch there job i DONT tab them because my game go mutch faster when they all work, when they wandering around i have lagg.

A few days ago I was gonna post about the apparent fear of the ocean elves must have. Then today I saw my first elf on Squidport ever.

I also noted that he was the beer guzzling elf and thought that he was into the drunken bravery point of his binge.

I have yet to find an elf at my Squidport...I think the fishy ocean smell is too much for them!

Characters are attracted to the Squidport boardwalk just like they're attracted to streets. Get rid of all your streets except one section and you'll see what I mean.

I find elves hovering over my boardwalk all the time. It seems to be a hangout for them some days, with several of them floating around.

A lot of my Springfielders flock to my SquidPort as well. I think depending on how many boardwalk tiles you have, the more likely they are of going there. Here is a screenshot of half my SquidPort

I never have too many characters on my Squidport, at the moment it's only Bonestorm Santa, Fat Tony playing the violin, and Selma hula dancing. Which would actually be pretty funny if they were closer together. But then my Squidport is pretty small, and most of it is covered with shops and decorations, so I guess characters don't have much room to wander around there?

I haven't had a single elf on my Squidport. Mine seem to flock to pavement, specially the town-square and park.

Oh, Kang just decided to join the hula/violin party. :P

Mr. Costington stopped by for a moment to investigate Just Rainsticks, but then he moved on.

Yeah I find elves very rare on my squidport. So far I've only found 1 elf there during the entire Phase 2 Christmas update.

My people go where I go, sometimes it can get annoying especially in edit mode, funny I came across this thread because I was just about to ask for advice as to what to put up. My squid port always felt cramped so I stored allot of stuff and redesigned. Now I just don't know what to put back out.

Nope, the pic I posted pretty much covers my entire Squidport, and I'll often get whole gangs of characters there. This morning I just had everybody else on (mostly) indoor tasks and hadn't cleared them yet.
