Don't playnthe game. After three years of playing, I realize I am wasting my valuable time. You are too. Go to your families, go to Real life,
Evidently you have a dependency problem Some call it an addiction.
Learn to limit your time spent on this game to less than 30 minutes a day
I call my time Therapy Cheeper than medication!
1. Store all unnecessary characters and buildings. Leave about 70-75 of what you feel are your favorite playable characters in your Springfield at any one time Cuts down on time spent on the game.
2. Send everyone on 24hr tasks .. That way you only have to check them once a day.
But send everyone at the same time ..
3. Limit the number of neighbors to 30 or less. More than that and you've reached the point of diminishing returns on your time spent gathering point .and this part gets very time consuming when you gots a bunch of neighbors!!!!!!!!!!!
4. Only visit neighbors during special times .. Like when you have something to gain from it!
Such as gathering elf bells. Visiting and tapping neighbors is very time consuming
I spend on average 15-20 minutes a day on this game and rake in about $375,000 of in game cash per day for my puny efforts ...
Or you can always shoot your computing device of choice
Or you could just go shoot yourself ... Happy tapping there Bubba.

I was with you Jack...until the last paragraph. Not cool. :?
Scariest thing about this thread is after putting it can the context of how old we are:
That explains why last week I found myself saying "back in my day" for the first time and thinking "has it really been that long" a lot more frequently
Sorry, I like the game. It's easy to play, takes a bit of time to master but it's worth the effort, and you don't actually have to spend money to play it.

I'm pretty sure the game warned you about this 3 years ago.
Let's is not forget that this is a generation of click and play. TOS what does that even stand for? Believe it or not I have been asked this on more occasions then I care to discuss, and the usual response I get is "that's so stupid" so to think that this person even acknowledged that the game stated "life ruiningly fun" either laughed thinking how arrogant EA is or just ignored it and tapped on. Either way I have a feeling they are coming back until there is a official "Tapped out anonymous" class for addicts, until then...........
I tried to quit but it's like drugs
1. It's addicting
2. It's free at first, but then you start to pay for it
3. It's a gateway to other Freeniam games like Family Guy QFS and Clash of Clans
4. So much money into this game
5. It's fun while doing it, but you wonder why you do it afterwards
6. Causes you to stay away from your family
7. Your friends do it, so you can't quit due to pier pressure
8. Not intended for kids but they do it anyways
9. If your caught doing it at work, you could be in serious trouble
10. You can't quit. Not for long.

This statement makes me feel sad for your family and life. I have a family, and a "real" life but I haven't neglected either for this game. Your problem is you, not this game.

Whoa, thought I'd walked into off-topic there.

Could not be stated more perfectly.
You sound so concerned yet you had no problem wasting my time with this pointless thread.
How about YOU manage YOUR time better, by not wasting it here, anymore, ever again.
WE will worry about OUR time, THANKS ANYWAY.
The time spent in the game and on this forum, is valued LEISURE TIME, and I'm happy to do it.
Can I get a
