Dog Races

Nothing to do with being good or bad. Its pure rng. Won 200k price maybe 6 or 7 times total.

Well I bet always on the 99-1 dog option and I won 3 times in December and at the moment in January I have won two times:

I always bet on Drool Britannia. I win often enough that I don't feel like I'm losing money on it, but honestly at this point even the $200,000 win doesn't make that much of a difference.

I usually just bet on the long shot. I've won a few times, too :D

Not very good to be honest, I've lost every bet for the last week, oh well at least it's not real money.

Never do them anymore. Not worth it now with KBBL radio and Channel 6 studios.

I always bet on Not a Chance! I just really like to bet on that one! I haven't kept track of how many times I've won, but if I was to guess (this includes all available payouts) I'd say probably about 30% of the time :D

Not A Chance is my dog, too. Just something about the irony that I can't resist. :D

I've never won! I always played the 99-1 odds so maybe that's my problem. After losing about 50 times in a row the track went into storage.

I used to bet the top option, the "best odds" choice, and I won/loss enough that it seemed a wash either way, perhaps slightly in the gain-side, but no so much that it really mattered.

As of a couple months ago, I no longer "need" money in this game. I'm at the point where all that's left to buy are the Aspirationals (and I've already purchased three of those, while never dipping below $2M).

Since then, I started betting solely on Raised by Wolves.

    I just like the name.

Anyway, I haven't kept track of my wins/losses since the change, but I'm pretty sure I've won at least one of each type of bet (including the big one), and overall the process continues to be a wash. Honestly, I don't think about it. I just keep betting on RbW every time and move on to the next thing to tap. >shrug<

Yeah the dog track is such a big building, before I bought more land it was in my storage for a while too

With the best odd option you will lose about as often as you win. The key though is that when you win you make $4000 of profit. When you lose it's just $2000. Over time you'll easily gain $100,000 - even if you lose half the time.

The people that are happy that they've won the $200,000 payout usually post after winning (or winning it again). But I'm guessing after they win they still continue to play the 99-1 option and thus will lose for awhile after that. That cuts into the earnings.

The anecdotal evidence that gets posted concerning the races is troubling at times. Unless the coding rigs the races there are definite odds and you can also look at average payouts amounts over longer periods of time. Yes, it's possible to get "lucky" and win $200,000 on your first race attempt, but that's just luck. It won't affect your future odds and won't change our odds.

    Always the big money.
I win the jackpot enough times to cover my losses.
