I had finished all my character's tasks and instead of immediately sending them on new tasks I unfortunately decided to visit neighbors first (I was near a friend prize completion and also wanted to grab more rods, etc.). In the middle of visiting Friends is when I lost the connection. Ugh. Now I'm waiting to get back in so I can send everyone on 12 hour tasks!
