How I think they nailed friend visits this event

I agree. EA seems dead-set on the diminishing returns (unfortunately), so this is the best compromise I can see: You can get most of the benefit from the first 30 friends or so, so you don't *have* to have 100 friends. However, there's still an advantage to having more friends.

I also love always having the criminals to tap, and it's a lot of fun seeing animations on buildings that are usually abandoned.

I agree with you. I really like it so far. I love how the criminals tip toe around and creep through the town.

I wish the silo had "pig crap" written on it. That's my favorite part.

I think the best part of visiting friends for this update is that they needn't have done the update themselves - there are still phones/criminals to find.

I personally have been seeking out the BDH and sequel stop on friend visits just so those awesome buildings are animated.

It's the best of both worlds: you earn rods, donuts, money, XP from one and earn rods that help your neighbor from another.

If you can't tap the buildings right away, you at least get something for the visit allowing you to come back and get something more once the buildings are clear.

And they also have a way for you to figure out who still hasn't updated or haven't yet reached the point of getting rods from visits- handshakes instead of radioactive signals!

As someone at the end of the alphabet, I appreciate there being an incentive for people to keep going after their first thirty friends.

Don't forget El Chemistri! But yeah, on my last round I searched out all the buildings I never see animated. It was fun.

Oh yes I have El Chemistri in my sights as well! I try to get all three as my event mini game if I have time to search them all out.
