I completely agree. I have wonderful, loyal Neighborinos. The first couple months I played TSTO (last year's Valentine's), I had Other Springfield, and didn't really understand the Friend concept. Then I got my wife playing, and so I had two Neighbors. Then I found and slowly started posting on these forums, and started to understand the concept of online Neighborinos. Then, a saint by the name of DAT (insert # here) Friended me out of the blue, no idea why, but he or she cracked open my little solo shell. So I then posted in two of the 'Add Me' threads, and also added Molzpink in the posts. The rest is history, and she and I are proud to have some of the best people as Friends.
DAT(#), you can be inactive for years and I will never unFriend you. Thank you for opening that door, and the other 99 players in my list for all of your dedicated effort. I'm also thankful that you've been loyal enough to bear with my sloppy edges since mid-summer. I'm slowly trying to tidy up, but MAN is it ever daunting sometimes, especially when RL is almost too much to bear at times.
TL;DR: OP, great thread, and I agree 100%.
P.S. - Other Springfield, I know I'm behind in redesigning, but you haven't done a thing to your town in ages. Please mix it up a little for level 50.
