Land Barons...

I have all the land purchased.

Nothing special happens. It's just 130 some thousand for the last lot. And the game crashes more.

Yeah, more than a few have, and they've not added any since the game launched. Do you plan on building a theme park out of hedges, using houses as shops and concession stands?

    Level 24....done
    All buildings bought...done
    All land bought....done
    Redesign City....done

It would be nice if they soon added more land...sea maybe? Or more buildings? :-)

We could buy a beach area then the sea. An option to make wooden piers would be really awesome :D Then we could get some boats

I'm maxed level 24 with all premiums. Working on buying remaining land while I contemplate my post-thaw redesign. I have about four full strips of land yet to purchase. But I was thinking... As I'm purchasing land, it seems like an awful lot more than is needed for the current number of items. That's okay for future expansion, but I'm starting to wonder why I'm buying this land now. Unless I massively spread out all the buildings or have a ginormous lake, I don't think I'll be needing all this land for the foreseeable future.

Am I just wasting my time and money going through this land-buying grind now?

I agree with your reasoning and think you are. I only buy it as needed as I hate having excessive empty space.

Wow.. True land barons... You just need some serfs to work the land.
    Is there anyone out there?

I recently completed buying all of the land.

I will honestly say that I have some regrets about this.

I have nothing left to buy. Meaningful tasks are long since completed.

I have most premiums. Multiple Kwik E Marts, Gulp N Blows, and Krusty Burgers. Multiples (but not farms) of each house. My Springfield is pretty nice and I can only rearrange so many times in search of perfection.

I am without purpose until the next update. It is sort of disappointing.

Being a land baron is not what I had hoped for....

I was going for all the land, but stopped short of the bottom two rows.

I'm not OCD, but I never liked buying the land in single plots; so when I save up a million, I'll finish them. In games like this, I'll keep playing as long as there is some sort of goal, and with the updates staggered the way they are, I should probably slow down the expansion anyway.

There's a lot of land out there, though, isn't there? Why Ned doesn't take his snowmobile out into the tundra is beyond me.

Sorry, I don't have serfs anymore... all because of Dennis who insisted that I can't expect to wield supreme executive power just because some watery tart threw a sword at me. Now Springfield an anarcho-syndicalist commune. We take it in turns to sort of act as a sort of executive officer for the week. All the decisions of that officer have to be ratified at a special bi-weekly meeting by a simple majority in the case of purely internal affairs, and by a two-thirds majority in the case of more major........
