That's very hopeful thinking, but good on you for being optimistic!

I'm going out on a limb here and saying (hopefully first, I haven't exactly read all the event related threads) that the criminal mastermind behind all this, the one to be revealed in issue 4, will be none other than our long hated/awaited buddy Sideshow Bob.

Nah, it's Radioactive Man's nemesis: Dr Crab.

While that is far more likely and fitting and all that good stuff I'm still gonna respectfully disagree in a mildly disrespectful way.

You sir are a liar!

    worst.prediction.ever.

My vote is on Dr. Crab as well... he was also already a participating character during the dialog in the text-boxes, stating his initial plans were foiled (if memory serves).
He would never take orders from our beloved SSB, and as you stated yourself, SSB isn't tied in to the comic event.

Dr. Crab is Radioactive Man. He became tired of the charade and decided to "kill" Radioactive Man.

At the end of issue 4, he dies by suffocation after he trips and falls into a cake. Fallout Boy says, "I guess that's one way to make a Crab cake!" Everybody laughs and the scene fades out.

A bold prediction indeed. One that I already posited in my Beavis and B*tthead thread.

But you'll still get the silver medal when we're both right!

I second that it is radioactive man in disguise.

I third this. :) But how I'd love to have Sideshow Bob as a character. Especially if they could get Kelsey Grammar to allow his voice in the game. His best role ever, in my opinion, is Sideshow Bob. :D

Isn't Mr Burns somehow behind every plot? You wouldn't go broke betting on him, that's for sure.

    Better idea:

As a bonus, we finally get Maggie, including a superhero skin to fight him!

Well I guess there has to be a reason we aren't seeing the silhouettes of the issue 4 prizes...this is as good a reason as any!

I for one would be glad of an end to Sidesow Bob's random appearances. But since they haven't stopped for this event, I have to agree with others that he won't be the mastermind.

Lol, how suspect would that be? "Hey, I haven't seen Sideshow Bob in my town for quite some time, now, have you?"

I think its radioactive man in disguise . I think after we get all the phase 4 prizes he will ask us to join him his evil plot then when we refuse we fight him like we would a felon but he has ten hearts instead of three. After we beat him it is revealed that is is radioactive man and he was doing this to test how true of a hero we truly are. Then we get him as a playable character as the grand finally of the event. Thats just my guess but I do like your idea a lot more and I do think we will get Sideshow bob but I just dont think this is when we will get him. BUT if you remember all the villeins are being brainwashed by mind control and I remember in one episode Sideshow Bob brainwashes Bart to kill Krusty so it is possible... I guess we will have to wait and see.
