I know what you mean though - it took me years to listen to certain bands I used to love after my ex and I broke up but after "grieving" I was able to listen again without feeling sad about it, hope the same goes for you with TSTO.

It's weird how little things, memories, like this game can hold such powerful memories of someone. You will get through it. I think we have all been there. But if you like the game you will continue. You have to think about yourself but you do not want to be disappointed on the things you will miss out in the game.

OP, if you are quitting the make sure to unfriend all your friends. Most players don't visit the forum and this way they don't keep an unactive player for months hoping for your return. You can always add new friends if you ever decide to come back.
