Anyone else experiencing Forum glitches?

Hi, Sue! I think the forum's been more glitch-tastic for some people lately. People unable to log on, disappearing posts, and a strange prevalence of songs relating to ducks. Curious, is it not?

 Duck songs? Who would ever expose you to those? What terrible friend would ever do that to to you?

Thanks MB. I needed to laugh! (Steam was almost coming out of my ears - like Fred Flinstone when he gets really mad)

Sorry to hear you are experiencing so many problems, neighbor. I hope this improves. Of the problems you've mentioned, the only I have encountered are when I am trying to add a post to a thread. It is kinda weird, but I can post my first time or two initially without any errors. But after I am logged on for more than 10 minutes, and have posted at least a few times, I am not able to post again, without either closing out the window and opening a new one, or logging out and back in again. I can't remember what the exact error message is that I receive, but it is the same problem.

Again, I hope you don't experience any more issues, Sue. It is always good to have you participating in the forum, with the full range of options available :)

It was some awesome, beautiful young lady if I remember correctly. Or it might have been a duck. I'm not too sure. I was pretty drunk. Oh, almost forgot. *MusicBooks flips over a table, and runs off screaming incoherent gibberish about the forum being glitched*

This whole forum is quacking up. I was in OT and felt like a sitting duck.

Strange. It posts my balloon image just fine. (Maybe it's your device?)

And you asked some of us to try posting that same balloon image and we had the same problem. I still think it may have been the site the balloons came from, I mean the site was promoting positivity.

I spoke with a mod about it, so hopefully that issue will be fixed soon (if not already - they let the higher ups know). Just was super frustrating because it was such an innocent image!

(It was a different image for those who are curious. It was literally just a bunch of cartoon balloons).

@suetopia, yeah I know what you mean. It's completely unpredictable. It's gotten so bad that I just routinely select all my text (PMs as well as forum posts) and click "copy" just before I hit "submit" .. Because I get that red-font warning or another error message or whatever.

So I am to the point where I cringe and wait for the error, and then have to close down my browser altogether, and reenter the forum, and then I click "paste". Sometimes it takes 2 or 3 times.

BTW, it even happens when I'm on my PC. But not on any other sites or forums. :(

It's not 100% unpredictable. I tend to get errors when i'm signed in to the forum on more than 2 devices.

    :( that's no good.

(good tip, though - copy the pm just in case)

Really, I'm signed in on my laptop, phone and a tablet and have no issues with errors... or maybe I just don't post enough to get them.

I've only experienced problems when signed in on one device, then I log out and try a different one to see if the device is the issue. Doesn't seem to matter which device I'm on.

But it's good (for lack of a better word) to know that if you are logged in on more than one device it can cause an issue. Good to keep that in mind.
